This was our first stay at Paradise Pier and it will be our last. I've stayed at the Grand and a few Disney hotels in Florida that were all very nice even the value resorts in Florida are better than this hotel. First off the decorations in the room are cute and I loved the bedding but when I sat on the bed I felt the springs and heard the bed Creek. I was shocked by this! This is a park view room which you pay a pretty penny for and I could have had a better night stay at any Marriott or Hilton for half the price. I was only here for 2 nights and booked this resort due to the convenience of not having to shuttle to and from the parks with such a short stay. I also agree with the others that the elevator is horriable. It doesn't account for how many people are in the elevator. I have a scooter due to being handicapped and a elevator would come and I couldn't get in it because the system would over book who was to be in the elevator and this is even with selecting the wheel chair option. I saw this with people with strollers also waiting for 10 minutes to get on an elevator with their family and the elevator was too packed for them to get on. I also got stuck on an elevator that was supposed to take me to the lobby floor but instead took me up to higher floors then down to lower floors the back up again. I was trapped with no way out as there are no buttons on the elevator to push for your selected floor, it was a terrifying experience. As far as the beds I did complain and was refunded a portion of the money and the staff was really nice but it still is no excuse for a Disney brand. Also no food options at all in the hotel and downtown Disney closes early so we were lucky to find a last minute option in DTD at tortilla Joe's taqueria at 10 at night when we arrived to the hotel.

Convenient, but total lack of Disney magic.

We stayed at Paradise Pier for four nights during our family vacation. While the staff was very nice and helpful, the room was a HUGE disappointment. It was clean, but the tv was so outdated. No Disney plus? No Disney movies available to rent? It's like stepping back to the tech of 2003. The rooms are so outdated and in need of repairs. The beds were comfy though. There is no food on property at all! The coffee they give you in room is gross. Closet coffee is in Disney Hotel ( 5 minute walk ). I understand there are covid protocols but come on. Oh and housekeeping just replaced our towels, no general clean at all. I even took everything off the beds and did a small tidy before they came. Walked back after a long day at the park hoping to have a clean room...nope just some towels. At the end of the day I didn't feel like I stayed at a Disney Hotel, I felt like I stayed at a Holiday Inn. And for the amount of money we paid for our stay I'm super disappointed. Next visit I'm spending the dough on Grand California. Ye been warned, stay else where friends.
