This is a comfortable, family-owned and operated boutique style city hotel located in 3 converted Georgian buildings in Dublin's city centre. This charming historical hotel welcomes both families and business travellers.
Rooms are dank, the Bar/Dining area is a throwback to the '70's with dreary Carpet & mahogany furniture. The food is just OK, when you eventually get it. While most of the staff are pleasant, exceptions apply, our late evening/night experience was far from acceptable, accompanied with an attitude of disdain. Someone needs to explain that a commitment to provide service means exactly that.! I brought a large group with me (not for the first time), I most certainly will not be returning. There are a lot more Hotels in the vicinity that 'tick' the location box, and more. All and all? The nice staff do not cover this Hotels inadequacies.
Stayed Sept 21. Really great staff.

Arrived 5 hours early for check in, to store bags, and allowed us to check in as room available.
Room 18 on ground floor, clean and spacious for our needs.
Did not eat in the hotel, but visited the bar a few times. Guinness a must.
Hotel is a few minutes walk from hop on hop off bus stop. Able to see the sights and visit our interests.
15 minute walk to Temple bar area.
All staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout.
