Dated hotel

kevinlY1011GT (Tiny, Canada) on Sep 30, 2023

Dated hotel, small bathroom. A bit out of town. A lot of small stairs that made moving luggage difficult. Pool and hot tub were ok but again dated. Breakfast was buffet only. A lot of buses use this hotel. Our room had a small side room that was awkward. Not many receptacles or usb ports to charge your stuff

A castle it is not!

Just another average ski lodge type hotel in need of some tlc. One of the furthest situated hotels from the centre of Jasper. On the plus side, room was spacious, comfy beds and pillows. Small kitchenette, area with a microwave and okayish tea and coffee making facilities with paper cups. On our evening arrival the bar had closed at 9pm. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was an option to not have your room serviced each day, which personally i dont really mind but is this just another way of saving money or dealing with staff shortages ? Pitiful "gym" area - not worth having.

Receptionist needs better customer service

625jadeb (London, United Kingdom) on Sep 24, 2023

This hotel looks really nice from the outside, with the entrance looking cool and modern, however when you go inside it feels as though you’ve stepped back in time 30 years. The rooms were big and we had two large beds, however the room was really dated, with red sofas, green carpets and brown furniture, it just gives me old fashioned dusty vibes. The main issue we had was the second we walked in, when the female receptionist with dark brown hair just stared at us like we were from outer space, we asked if we could check in and she sighed, as if we were asking her to do something awful. We just wanted our key…she was the most unwelcoming hotel receptionist we’ve had on our trip. It was our honeymoon so it would have been nice to feel a bit more welcome. She just simply couldn’t be bothered and it was very clearly showing. The walls are thin and please bear in mind you may need ear plugs, as at 6:30am other residents like to slam doors and talk really loud down the corridors. About a 15 minute walk into the town, either along the residential roads or the main road. The receptionist needs some training in customer service and rooms need modernising.

Jasper lovely place

trevor c (Spencers Wood, United Kingdom) on Sep 17, 2023

This hotel was located well about 20 min walk into downtown Jasper, our room was clean and large , extra coffee given when asked . Attached restaurant was good a shame you couldn’t sit at the bar for a drink. All in all happy with our stay. Bye bye

Average transit hotel

lizdX7025UC on Sep 14, 2023

Hotel a good 10 minutes from anywhere, good or bad depending on what you want. Breakfast buffet only average and no bar service available after 9pm despite bar and restaurant busy. We were told to walk back to downtown if we wanted a drink! Rooms plenty big enough however shower room is tiny. As with all Canadian hotels there is fridge, microwave and coffee machine, but only paper cups and no teaspoons. Fine for a stopover but would not recommend for more than that
