The Grand Cayman Marriott Resort is an ideal place for travelers looking for a luxurious escape in the Caribbean. This five-star resort is located on Seven Mile Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Cayman Islands. With its stunning ocean views, private beachfront cabanas, and world-class amenities, the Grand Cayman Marriott Resort offers a truly memorable experience. The resort itself is immaculately designed, with comfortable rooms and suites that offer modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs and high-speed Wi-Fi. I’m not sure about the great reviews on here. We were pretty disappointed. No beach and very rocky as you enter the water. We anticipated an upgraded room as we have the highest level of Marriott membership. We were told by the front desk that we were upgraded from a parking lot view to a garden view. We asked for an ocean front view but they told us there were none available…until I showed them from their website that there was ocean view availability. Such dishonesty. The pool area was nice with veranda and restaurant. Very small outdoor bar with high prices for average drinks. Most of the service was very good. Friendly staff., except for the dishonesty at the front desk. The bar area in the lobby lacks any character. No TVs for anyone who may want to watch sports or other entertainment. Breakfast was good. If I had to do it again I’d look for a hotel with a beach and a little more character and less of a corporate feel.
