We enjoyed our staying . Room was spacious and convenient with a kitchen and big refrigerator, oven and dishwasher with utensils and pots. Coffee brewer with different coffee and teas, sweetener.....
Impossible to sleep due to noise!

As pointed out in many reviews, the hotel is located at the intersection of two streets (Argyle and Sackville) full of bars and restaurants with terraces and loud patrons and music all night. I saw this when I arrived and asked whether I could change rooms. I was told I could not because they were sold out; the front desk staff obviously knew about his problem but they were unsympathetic and rude. They offered to me to check out (which is not an attractive option at 10 pm ).
Do not stay in this hotel between May and October if you plan to sleep before 4 am.
Don’t stay here - if you do, just don’t stay here.

Good - kitchenette, comfy bed, decent shampoo & conditioner
Bad, very bad -
1. noise!!! If you are a party animal, pick this hotel. If you have kids/family, staying over a weekend, be prepared to stay up alll night. It is loud AF. Or stay somewhere else, anywhere else.
2. Broken furniture - not a huge deal but given how much $ we paid, kind of expected room to be perfect.
3. Funky smelling bathroom. Just musty/off. Blech
4. Sofa bed is terrible for your back. Lumpy.
5. Parking is EXTORTIONATE
We won’t be back, can’t recommend, exp after the stellar service we had in PEI at an independent BB.
Decent business hotel, great location

Standard Residence Inn, so great for business but still decent for vacation travel as close to much of what Halifax has to offer (Citadel Hill, Waterfront & Argyle Street's 'restaurant row'). They were just restarting the 'buffet breakfast' (albeit not a buffet yet), so still a limited selection & they tried really hard to accommodate everyone's needs.
We were in Halifax on vacation, I always start with the ‘Marriott’s’ as I get a great corporate rate even for personal travel plus the perks of being ‘Marriott Titanium Elite’.
The hotel has a standard Residence Inn layout, so perfect for a longterm stay as a business traveller while still very comfortable for tourists.
