We have traveled to Cuba 7 times. The last three were at this resort. There is a reason. We love the Staff and the Resort. We stayed three weeks this time. There is no better resort. We would like to thank Customer Service for arranging our special Anniversary Dinner. They went above and beyond. We stayed in building 12 and also at the Royal Service. The staff at the buffet and bar were fabulous. We were so happy to go there and see their smiling faces. Getting to know the people there and making friends is what it's all about for us. On the transfer bus travelling back to the airport we picked up guests from other resorts. We heard people complaining about the food and sanitation. Not at this resort. I can tell you the Paridisus isn't just a name. It's as close to Paradise as you can get. At different times during our 3 weeks, we enjoyed delicious pineapple, mango, guava, and gauabana. At the buffet, the grill chef also makes grill chicken strips marinated in cumin and garlic, which tastes like middle eastern shawarma. A gardener there even made us a beautiful arrangement for our anniversary! We will return as soon as we can! Thankyou Paridisus!

Our second time here. Without doubt one of the favorite resorts that we stayed in all of Cuba! Gorgeous landscape with beautiful botanical garden and breathtaking ocean view. The room was super clean and very spacious with comfortable king or two double beds. We were invited to the VIP dinner as returned customers, which was lovely and made us feel like home! We ate mostly in the buffet restaurant. The variety of food was good and delicious with beautiful presentations. Loved the fun daily activities and nightly entertainments especially theme parties like retro night, a lot more customers participation, great improvement for our last visit from less than a year ago. Spent a few days at the beautiful and relaxing spa. Very welcoming and soothing atmosphere. The massage therapists were professional and attentive. Most importantly, what makes our stay fun, comfortable and enjoyable was the very friendly and wonderful management and staff!! Thank you! Can't wait to be back again soon!

1. The resort is about 1 Hour Drive from the airport 2. Beautiful, mature garden and pool. Beautiful large room - comfortable, clean and not worn out. 3. Resort is small, adult only. Easy to get around. No Map supplied. Recommend to take a picture of the resort map at the beginning. (found one when signing in for wifi) Need to sign in for wifi repeatedly, otherwise works well enough. Good, not overly noisy entertainments. 4. White sandy beach, big portion is very close to a band of reef. ~5-10m to the water edge. Great for snorkelling or just dip your head in the water to see the fish and reef, a lot of fish. Should Wear swim shoes all the time though in the water. 5. Main buffet area is open air and the Cuban restaurant is also open air- great due to infection/COVID concern. Food is not fancy but plenty fruits, cheese, pasta, grill and desserts. Could bring some spices if you like, Tabasco sauce, soy sauce, etc. 6. Spa is nice with beautiful setting and small beach and spouse is allowed to come along to sit around 7. The shampoo/conditioner is not quite strong to untangle the hair from the sea water. Could bring additional hair conditioner There was no cream / lotion - good to bring 8. Bring new Canadian dollars bills, no coins. The bank would not take the coins neither any bills with any defect. Local staff would want to exchange with you. 9. We took a excursion to the city on the way back to the airport by Air Canada. It includes VIP lounge at airport where there is plenty to drink with some food. The most helpful part is to bypass the line ups. City trip is ok. There's some aggressive begging at the mountain top stop-keep some small change etc.

Overall the resort is excellent. Times have always been difficult for the Cuban people and even harder because of COVID yet their resiliency always shows. The effort that the staff put into making our stay as good as they could starting with the very welcoming front desk staff, the excellent entertainment, the cooks and servers with the plentiful very good food that was served. The grounds were lush and immaculate and the cleaners were always keeping our room and common areas very tidy. Beach and reef was wonderful always a Palapa was available. Lots of excursions to choose from. We flew with Westjet and the reps were both excellent available daily to ensure arriving and departing from the resort went seamlessly. Quite a few of the other Canadians brought mainly hygiene items for the staff to help out a bit. Everything is in short supply in Cuba or too expensive for them to buy. We opted to spread some wealth by tipping as much as we could. American one dollar bills are happily accepted. Just so you know the average workers salary is equivalent to about $30 CAD per month so please be generous if you can. The only downside to the resort is the Disco. The music is not just loud but booming most nights until 2am. We all know what it is like to be young and yes they should be enjoying themselves but not at the expense of many other people. Due to COVID the resort is a little run down but the management is slowly addressing these maintenance problems as supplies reach them. Because the resort is adults only it is generally a peaceful place but there was a few idiots that stuck out as they do not know how to behave but these kind of people are everywhere. All in all we had a wonderful time and are already planning our return. To all the resort staff 'many many thanks.

My daughter and I stayed in the Royal Service side from Jan 13-20th and we were beyond happy. Our room had a great view of the ocean, was VERY clean and comfortable. Lina the manager of the Royal Service was so knowledgeable and very helpful, making our stay easy and relaxing. Another great person we met was Dunieski, the head butler. He arranged a day trip for us to explore Holguin, along with any problems we had, which was never, but he took care of everything. The beach is awesome, and don’t skip out on the spa. Ask for Yisel or Mildrey. Food was good with quite a few options to choose. The Mediterranean and Japanese restaurant were our favourite. Overall, I cant say enough good things about the people and staff like Manuel. The gardener by our room who would ask if we wanted coconuts to enjoy. Definitely will be coming back! Highly recommend.
