Kudos to hotel Managers, Jenine and Lillian who made our family vacation the best. This is a great hotel. Location is awesome, across the street from the beach, walking distance to the Honolulu Zoo and a short bike ride to downtown. The hotel was very clean, a little outdated but the staff was very friendly and courteous and went above and beyond to satisfy us.
I am a travel agent and will refer my clients to this hotel. My family and I will return.

7 family members stayed here for 3 nights in 3 different rooms in June 2021.
The main problem was that one member of our family got bitten all over by bedbugs. This was confirmed by the hotel after she moved rooms. They did comp her room for the stay. As a result, everyone in our party had to wash every article of clothing we brought and put our suitcases outside on the balcony at our next destination because all the bags came into close contact with each other.
Other issues- old, outdated rooms, bathrooms, hallways, pool.
Our balcony door would not shut completely at the top so there was a constant loud whistling sound from the wind. There was also a huge gap under the door so we had to put a towel in front of it on the floor to keep the light, and draft out.
There was no housekeeping- understandable because of Covid. But no cups for the bathroom, Minimal coffee supplies, minimal towels and washcloths, and few places to gather and hang out.
The bar was great.
The location was great and the views were incredible.
