Such a wonderful experience here. We just got home yesterday and I miss it so very much. The valet people are wonderful, the front desk people truly cares how you are doing, and the food at the Kani Ka Pila grill is so so so delicious. I was hesitant because there are a lot of renovations going on but it didn’t hinder us from having a fantastic experience. The staff are warm and wonderful, the facilities, though slightly hindered, are still very accessible, and it is shaping up to be a beautiful facility. I will be back someday to see how it all turns out. We really appreciated our time here.
Beautiful Hawaiian Visit during a Reno
Jun 13, 2021
Albeit the resort is undergoing major renovations, we arrived about a week after their soft opening knowing this was going on. We booked one of the club oceanfront rooms on the 6th floor and the room was brand new and beautiful. The staff were all responsive when I took a fall down the beach stairwell, the security guys came and took a report. The manager had even called and offered to bring in a doctor to assess me and to move us to a higher floor room (we declined as we loved our room). All the attention and response was well appreciated. The resort staff were all wonderful and we look forward to returning again in January 2022 and finally see the finished product (fingers crossed). The main restaurant is not open yet, but there is a restaurant right next to the pool that had great food (Kani Ka Pila Grille)! And in the evenings, there is amazing live music each night there! The area where the resort is is set on the quiet part of Waikiki, but a quick walk to wherever you need to go. And if you need a rental car, Sheraton Avis is practically next door! Parking is alittle steep at $40/nt, but so is most of Waikiki. Enjoyable stay nonetheless!
