Great place to stay

Have stayed at the Papakea yearly over the past 10 years. Well kept grounds and amenities that suit us. We are a senior couple and don’t require a lot of entertainment other than to be away from the snow and cold. Resort has two swimming pools and two hot tubs that are well kept. One thing that we enjoy is that there is no beach! There is lawn to a sea wall and the resort provides chaise lounges where we sit/lay and read and watch the whales. We usually go for 6 weeks, late Jan to Early Mar. There are two large bbq areas for tenants with several gas bbqs each. Close to shopping including groceries, farmer’s market and a 10 min walk to car rental. We plan on returning and have a booking for the next two years.
Beautiful Maui

Our party of four stayed in unit G302. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony and master bedroom. The unit was very clean and very roomy. It was easy to get to and from it and our car in the parking lot. Very well situated in Lahaina, within walking distance of several places to eat and shop. In fact, the back gate of the property leads to an ABC store, which came in very handy. The resort had some nice activities for families, e.g., Lei making and Mai Tai night. We enjoyed ourselves.
