Fantastic hotel

This hotel was fantastic. The rooms, gym, location, swimming pool, hot tub, and service was top notch. The shining light of this hotel is the people who work here. People are so professional, but at the same time, so down to earth and real. I love the hotel experience and kindness, but it can be cloying at times. This was none of this. It was real people who we're lovely. Shout out to Kalina, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made it fun during my stay. Thanks again!

Amazing Customer Service!

Stefan, Max & Thelma were absolute gems! We were traveling to visit family and they made our stay the best it could possibly be. The rooms were comfortable, the gym and pool were awesome, and the location was close to lots of coffee shops and restaurants. We will be back and look forward to staying with them again! Fine for overnight stay

Travelling on the Rocky Mountaineer, we stayed overnight at this hotel. Luggage was in the room on arrival and the room was adequate, modern and clean. Struggled to find anywhere around the hotel to eat. Kamloops did not appear to cater for tourists. The hotel was fine for an overnight stay but would not have chosen to stay longer.

Overnight stay

All hotels eventually need to be renovated and upgraded, and this one has been. But it is the Staff that makes or breaks a travelers experience in my opinion. A poor Front Desk experience makes all the rest like putting Lipstick on a Pig. My wife and I are both Elite members and so have seen the good and bad in the Hotel Industry. I must say it has been a long time since we have been treated with such Sincerity and concern for our needs. I must mention Loki and Stephan at the Front Desk who answered every question and concern we had. Every Staff Member we met had a friendly Hello for us and wanted to help. I only wish now we were able to stay longer, we WILL be back.

Comfortable accommodations

We stayed here overnight during our Rocky Mountaineer train trip. Since we arrived so late and had to leave early the next morning, we didn’t get to see much of the hotel other than our room. We were given a handicapped room which we didn’t need, but was acceptable to us. The main difference were some additional grab bars in the bathroom and a roll in shower. The room had plenty of space for our luggage and enough lighting that we could read in bed, along with a comfortable bed. We appreciated the night light and light sensor in the bathroom and the combination of shades and curtains which really blocked out the daylight. We did hear a little road noise.
