The gentleman at the front desk was very knowledgable about the area and had some great recommendations for us. There is no shade at the pool, which was stifling at some points during the day. We brought our own umbrellas to use while at the pool and chairs as there was also a shortage of chairs. There was live music at the restaurant on the patio, which we could hear from the pool and the performer was wonderful. We like the village atmosphere with everything so close. It was very expensive and we likely would only stay there again because it was the only hotel with a pool. The views are stunning. There were black flies that bit and were an unwelcome, but uncontrollable aspect we were not expecting. We were warned upon arrival of the severity of their numbers. Bug spray did not seem to help all that much. The kitchenette suite had a dishwasher and was amply supplied with what we needed, however the chef knife was dull and couldn't cut a tomato. The kitchenette came with a 12 cup coffee maker with decent coffee. The other rooms had nespresso machines. The hallways are narrow, but easy to navigate. Overall it is a lovely place and I would go back.

We were travelling from Jasper to Vancouver and needed somewhere to stay en route to break up the journey. Most people seem to stay in Kamloops but we wanted something different. This was ideal and in such a lovely area. Would definitely recommend.
