Great for just for a couple of days in vegas. 30 min walk to the strip - or 10 min drive.
Basically in a nutshell -
Staff friendly enough
Nice big spacious rooms
Food from previous guest in the room fridge
Barely any vegan options for food - also not many healthy options
Pools only open 10am - 6pm
No coffee facility in room

Rooms kinda shabby. Hope you don’t want coffee in the morning! One hour wait in SB line and 30 bucks for 2 Americano and an ice tea. Dropped plenty of coin in the slots and very stingy about usual free drinks you get at casinos. Front desk staff Luke warm. I don’t expect something for nothing but very overpriced for what you get. Would never book this place again

What I can say about the Rio is that the 80's called and want their hotel back. The service was subpar, there were stains on the carpets in the suite. It is overpriced for an old hotel. The location is so far from the strip that you have to drive. Sorry but velveteen couches went out in the 80's. Update your rooms and hotel. Now I know why the WSOP left the Rio.

worst service ever, stay away from this hotel, I booked 2 nights non smoking deluxe masquerade strip view on July 2-4, the room smelled of drugs and in the morning I had a headache so I complained to the manager to change rooms but the manager said no , she said she will send someone to spray the room, then I ask if it still smells ? she said come back here again. they did send someone right away to spray the room, but the person who sprayed it said go ask for a room change because the smell was too strong and couldn't go away, and I went down again saying the smell was still strong and asked to change rooms because I don't want to be dizzy all day here, this time jose as supervisor who’s helping me, he said he couldn't give it because the room was full, what a lie! because I checked online I was still able to book a room for July 3rd. and in the end I said, if you can't give me a room I want to check out, and he said ok, and he gave a full refund 1 day, I said you should have given a solution when someone complain, and the price from the night before you should have given a discount, but he answered I'm just an employee here and I don't have the power, He should have asked his management first what he should do, instead of making his own decisions, because he works on behalf of the company, in the end I had to find another hotel.
the bedsheet is dirty, it looks like it hasn't been change for awhile and it only provide 2 towel, what a horrible holiday for us
for sure I will not stay in this hotel again.

I like the hotel room it’s clean and not dirty. I would like to come back maybe next year with my dad. I highly recommend booking early cause it’s way cheaper and later when summer comes it’s really expensive
