After reading the reviews ahead of time, we did not expect much. We were with a tour group and had no choice of where to stay. Check-in for us was easy and we paid the $15 extra to check-in early. The room was large, but very dated and in need of repairs. Hotel part is still nice, but many of the stores and restaurants were closed, I am assuming do to Covid and also hard to find workers. Very noisy at night, and when we awoke in the morning, there was NO water! Couldn't flush the toilet or shower. There was a small trickle of cold water coming from the sink, so we were able to brush our teeth and take a "cat bath." We were "supposedly" to have been alerted to that fact there would be no water through the night, but we were not. We would NOT stay there again.

My room was very dirty and had a terrible smell. The front desk upgraded us to another room, in the second room we woke up to 20 bug bites. The hotel changed us to a 3rd room, that was also dirty and the shower only worked half the time. stay away from this property, the low rate is not worth this experience.

The rooms were clean but most of the restaurants were closed, the pools were closed and for the three days we were there, no be cleaned the rooms or even brought more towel until I called to ask for them too. The resort fees were more than the room with nothing to do but gamble. We’ll go elsewhere next time.
Caesars doesn't care about people

Two weeks at a convention at the Rio. The concessions had the SAME food every day! Very expensive and smaller portions than last time. The bars at the convention area were more expensive and weren't supplied any micro beers, cordials for mixed drinks, cream, etc. No comforter on the bed, multiple stains on the carpet and housekeeping every four days. When it was the Rio, it was good. I bet Caesars is happy COVID hit; they can blame their stripped staff and shortcomings on the virus. Never go to a Caesars property!

So it’s been a very long time since I’ve been at the Rio and OMG!…we had a suite in the masquerade tower our room was so outdated our pillows felt like shredded paper, cracks on the ceiling and paint coming off the wall, stain old carpet. The sofa and chairs were so old and the color was so faded. TV’s remote was not working well. Our room was cleaned half ass! Towels were changed, bed was made, trash was left on the bathroom sink! All the rewards and money machines were out of service. You had to stand in a 30+ minute line at the cashier window to cash your money tickets & to get your rewards card. There was always 2 ladies (but one was always on her cell phone) the pool was closed during SUMMER week days! Do I dare to say more!
