The Garland was absolutely wonderful. The staff was amazing and well trained in hospitality. From the receptionist to the maintenance worker everybody was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food and cocktails at poolbar was amazing. I highly recommend the Caprisun cocktail, while sitting at the pool or jacuzzi..This hotel has a lovely family flair to it and I very much enjoyed movie night by the pool, in-fact I think The Garland has a great overall fun program. There was however one tiny little thing, the sodas at the pool are not canned, and the bars close quite early. but those are very minor details upon a definite A-plus establishment . I’ll certainly be coming back.

We stayed for 3 nights with friends and found the hotel lovely, it’s had very friendly staff always happy to help. The hotel is a little retro but has a lovely warm atmosphere, it is very close to Universal Studios and a free shuttle is always available on the hour. Although the pool area was small we never struggled for a sun bed. If I had to say one possible negative there is no where to walk for drink or meal apart of one place (Fox & Hounds so we got the shuttle back to City Walk at night but this wasn’t a issue.
