I cannot say enough good things about my experience at this hotel. Absolutely everything was perfect! I completely feel recharged and ready go to back out into the world after my stay here. Extremely convenient location, direct access to the Anaheim Garden Walk, the pool was great, staff was super friendly and helpful… definitely made me feel like a very highly valued guest. The room!!! Omggg it was impeccable! The deep soaking tub was extra long, perfect for my relaxing bubble baths. The food was also great! Will most definitely stay here again in the future.
Marriott Elite Guests Should Avoid This Property

This resort definitely has a lot of room for growth when it comes to customer service. First, I will say that the hotel layout is very confusing. When a person pulls in to the property and enters the building, one would expect to be entering the lobby and reception area. However, guests need to take an escalator up to a different level to check in. There were absolutely no signs posted and no employees around to help figure this out. After walking around for a while, I had to go back outside to ask the valet guys where I can check in. As a Marriott Platinum Elite member, I was very disappointed that there were absolutely no incentives for staying at this property. I asked for an upgrade with a better view and was told the hotel was fully committed. However, the Marriott App showed multiple room types available and there were barely any guests staying in the hotel. I had two rooms booked which overlooked the roof of a building. This was such an eye sore and not what I expected staying here as we were celebrating a special occasion. I stayed at the JW Marriott in Orlando Bonnet Creek last month and had a completely different experience (upgraded to a suite and had breakfast included for having elite status). There is no self-parking option at the resort and guests are forced to use valet parking. Prior to checking out, I requested my car 30 minutes in advance. However after checking out, I learned that the request was never fulfilled and my family ended up having to wait an additional 10 minutes, making us late to our breakfast reservation.
I will also add that the rooms are quite small for being located in the Disneyland area. The shower pressure is also awful.
