Great location, Great Room!

I was in town for business but traveled with my husband, 3 and a half year old and 5 months old. This hotel was perfect for us! Yes, parking is pricey but it is downtown LA. They make valet convenient and, the location is great so you can walk easily to many places. The breakfast was included and buffet style, the workers were very nice. They had a variety of easy foods and a lot of spaces to sit and eat. Checking in was a breeze, Jose helped me and was informative and friendly. The room was spacious, kitchenette had what we needed to make my picky toddler pasta and stuff to make coffee in the morning. The fridge was big, we got food for us to have things in the room, but delivery was also super easy, you just have to grab from reception. I will absolutely stay here again!

Warning about bedbugs

Warning about bedbugs. When we returned from this hotel in September, there were bedbugs in our suitcase, and then for two months later, in our bed. The staff at the hotel were very nice, took a report, had us send them pictures and our receipts for a new mattress cover and boxspring cover (about $100 in all). But after we spoke with the Marriott claims office, just asking for the $100 to cover our out-of-pocket costs, they said that an investigation of the room had been done and no bedbugs were found. So, this is a heads-up about Marriott as well as this hotel: if they say you didn't get bedbugs at their hotel, despite evidence to the contrary (i.e.. we hadn't traveled elsewhere recently or used that suitcase in many months), you're on your own! There was also a strike going on when we were there, and picket lines outside, so this was not a wonderful experience in many ways, but a refund of even $100 of an $1100 bill is too much to expect from Marriott or the hotel.

Most uncomfortable couch bed ever!

Titanium Elite bonvoy member denied elite credits and insisted given the absolutely most uncomfortable room for 4 people!! The couch bed was not only a double mattress on a queen frame but the springs were practically sticking out of it. The rest of the room and the regular bed were fine.

Awesome stay

Very nice hotel and staff. We were very pleased with our stay. Room was very clean and had all the amenities you would need. We are a family of 5 and we had 2 queens and sofa bed and everyone was comfortable! Free hot breakfast is included as well. Highly recommend!

Awful, Pricey, Dirty, Do not recommend

I was here working while my kid was performing in LA. I had to stay with this hotel for 11 days. The service is just awful. Although I am paying close to 300/ night plus tax + $58/night for valet parking, they did not provide me with housekeeping on a few nights. Their employees are striking but they managed to get other rooms cleaned up as I believe they were prioritizing their newer guests. The mattress covers/sheets are so tiny, they stick out even before you lay in them to sleep. The towels and sheets the first night were smelly and I had to ask them to wash them better. The room on the second stay smelled like week or something. Although it's obviously a non-smoke hotel, obviously someone smoked and it was stinking. I arrived alone with a kid and 3 suitcases, yet they did not even offer luggage service or just a cart to help us pull though. I have a weak hand/back so the minimum offer a cart. I stayed with the Marriott before including the one in Nice France last year. What a difference in service and overall cleanliness. I spoke with the front desk about their way they handled thing, and all they can say is "sorry". So I have to pay full price and keep my end of the deal, but apparently, they do not have to. The staff does not seem to be trained in hospitality and customer service.
