Paradise

I really enjoy myself. Went for my birthday and had a blast. Staff was very attentive and kind. Karla D was very helpful and attentive. Smile so welcoming. I would definitely come back again. Jamaica is beautiful!!

Excellent food and beautiful beach

We stayed as a family this January! (3 couples) Overall, we had an amazing vacation here!!! The buffet was delicious with new food everyday and new things to try. (I love trying new foods). The buffet area is right next to the breezy ocean which in my opinion was WAY nicer than the sister resort. We were unable to get an al a carte reservation as it was only same day reservation and we don't wake up early but we were more than happy with the buffet! The beaches were small but beautiful and nice of you like a smaller area that is more secluded! Doctors cave Beach is also next door if you want a beach with less rocks/coral. Most of the staff we interacted with were friendly, kind, and welcoming! We're big coffee drinkers and the breakfast staff was always ontop of refills! And you can walk to the sister resort next door and there's a coffee bar where the iced coffee was to die for! The only thing that didn't work for us was that we are not drinkers and do not party. Lots of loud music that played well into the night made it hard to sleep unless you were part of the party! My suggestion would be to BRING ear plugs or noise canceling headphones! Overall though we had an amazing time and would recommend!

Fun family Christmas

I traveled to Montego Bay ???? for Christmas with my son and mother. While the airline ?? losing our luggage put a huge damper on our first day, the front desk staff at Royal Decameron Montego Beach made sure we were taken care of and that our check-in was smooth and stress free ?? We stayed in the Sunset building, second floor, towards the far end of the resort. The room was spacious and with a balcony view that was simply breathtaking! Check out our view in our photos ?? Our room was cleaned daily, except on Christmas day, and we did need to remind housekeeping to leave us enough bath towels ??. We found the grounds were well kept, although a little extra maintenance here and there wouldn't hurt. The beaches were well tended, and always had enough places to sit ???both in the sun and shade. The swimming areas were a mix of sand and rock, and very little seaweed ?? The evening shows were just great! I have to say that I absolutely love Caribbean music?? and during my stay I was very pleased to have had such a variety! The violinist ?? at the evening show was just captivating! What to say for the animation staff ?? Always friendly, smiling, and having fun! It was contagious for us all! Kydd, Jamal, MJ, Christina, and Nasi won over my son with the games and volleyball, and my mother and I with their energy during the evening shows. The waiters and bar staff deserve 5 ? They were always helpful, talkative, pleasant, and welcoming ?? Particularly George, the barman, who was phenomenal to us all??????Thank you ?? I'd like to mention that there were a few times that the buffet did not open on time. From what we could observe, the kitchen was a little slow getting things ready, so the wait staff did their best to keep us placated. There were vendors on-site daily selling their ware. The vendors were not harassing, maybe a little insistant, but very far from harassing. Thank you to Priscilla for my son's braids, and for the conversation. Getro Julien, the rep from Air Transat, was also helpful in keeping us updated on our lost luggage. He also hooked us up with Ryon Reid for a tour to Jam West, and Rick's Cafe! From the very first night until the last, we full joyed ourselves. This was our first time at this resort, and it will not be our last

Royal Decameron Montego Bay Beech Jamaica There from January 18 till 25 2023 1- Front desk was great and helpful. Theo was over and above. 2- Food was the worst we have had in all the 25 all-inclusive resorts we have been to in the last 30 years. The sit down restaurant in the Cornwall was amazing the night Romeo was the chef so we got up at 6.30 am made reservation for the next night and Romeo was off work and the chef that night was terrible. The waitress could not take our order and she was lost in the clouds. The waitress we tipped the night before saved the day seeing her co-worker had no idea. But the food came 1 ½ hours later at all different times. The buffet the food was cooked to death and the chef should be ashamed to put food out like that. It is not the food it was the chefs that ruined every buffet meal. Breakfast was the same poor food every day. Chorizo sausage and burnt ham. Grill at the beach took over 45 minutes to get your meal. 3- Alcohol was cheap no name brands. They ran out of beer three time and vodka twice. Most bartenders were great. Jason at the pool bar was very helpful. When I asked for canned beer I was asked how much I will pay I said nothing so I did not get canned beer. 80 present of the bartenders are all drinking on the job and it was all the canned beer. 4- I was asked by at least 10 workers if I wanted to by dope or eatables. 5- Rooms had no pillow cases and our friend cut herself and got blood all over her sheets so she put them on the floor to get changed. The house keeper put the same bloody sheets back on the bed. 6- In last twice I seen head management from corporate at the resort and the walk around not asking any vacationers a thing. All and I mean all upper Management from corporate office should be fired ASAP if they want this resort to survive. 7- There are two employees that look after the beech and they did a great job. 8- All rooms have ocean view so that is a plus. 9- Big ,Big waste of money. Hire an independent person to go and fix this resort because Corporate know nothing by the looks of it. Thank you for your time.

Birthday celebration

I would like to say the hotel needs to be updated. Also, they need to fix the elevator which has been out of service over a year and the phone in the rooms do not work. However, the staff was amazing. The bartenders Jason, Jay Jay, Aldine and the entertainment Nazi and kidd. Keep up the great work!!
