Lovely beautiful beach island just off the main beach giving safe swimming with gorgeous clear sea teaming with fish to see whilst snorkeling.
The staff are amazing and attentive.
The hotel has a colonial style feel to it.
The inclusive drinks and dining works well.

The worst hotel l have ever stayed in, Customer service -10 the rooms are disgustingly tired dated and in desperate need of a refurb.
The bsthroom wall tikes were falling off, the bath water was blooked, cockroaches in the room, TV and WiFi didn't work, had to hunt for plates cups and beakers.
I have a disability and was not allowed to.park in the dissabled bay which was vacant for 2 weeks.
The food was repetitive boring and tasteless
Never again even if it was free. Very disappointed Customer
Great week in this resort.

A few things about me first, I have stayed in many hotels in different countries, I have no affiliation to this hotel whatsoever, I am not a picky eater and do not spend a lot of time in the room. pretty much average joe.
Stayed for a week in the Holiday Inn 6th - !3th Feb 2024 on all inclusive board basis.
After reading other reviews I made it a priority upon my return to review this hotel.
I read some really bad reports about the staff of the hotel that I was actually worried and considered changing hotels. However I need not have worried myself.
The staff very very polite and if you engaged with them they were happy to talk with you, some are worthy of a mention, Orsett at the Adult pool bar (nice guy) Chadisha at the main pool bar, Tamara in Sorrento`s restaurant and in me and my wife`s eyes Romana at the entrance to the main restaurant, she has such a welcoming smile and is always polite while being busy in and around the tables.
Tip for the restaurant - sit in the same area and your server will get to know what you want to drink. In general, staff are always polite when you pass them in the resort.
Food - in the main restaurant (canteen) its buffet time, plenty of choice but limited if you don`t like spicy food, but you won`t go hungry, it is bust at main meal times though. The hotel has four other restaurants (Italian, Jamaican, seafood which are included in the all inclusive deal, and a Japanese which has a surcharge. Our favourite was the Italian Sorrento`s.
The room was ok, bed very large and comfortable, all clean and tidy, our aircon was of the older variety so ask for a room with a new "WINDY" aircon unit.
As it was our first visit we were given blue wristbands, those returning guests were given silver /grey wristbands, I guess 10% of all guests were repeaters which says a lot about this resort.
.They are slowly refurbishing this resort, some of the lifts don`t work and it is false economy to repair rather than replace it, the older aircon units are also being replaced, and by the way, the grounds are immaculate.
It is not a 4 star hotel, more of a good 3 star hotel but the pools and beachfront are certainly 4 star.
I won`t be staying here again as I like to try different hotels, but I would not say don`t stay here. You will enjoying it.
Hidden Gem- Perfect for Families, Great Kids Club
Feb 14, 2024
The Holiday Inn Montego Bay is our go-to resort when we travel to Jamaica. We vacationed here twice in 2023, most recently over Thanksgiving break. The Kids Club is excellent, clean, and the ladies who staff the Kids Club are friendly and kind- special thanks to Irene, Eileen, Francine, Serena, and Elsa who took wonderful care of our children and provided games, activities, and arts and crafts while my husband and I took some time to enjoy some kids-free time. The resort is not a 5 star resort, so expect outdated rooms and minimal guest services (no waiter service at the beach) but it has a small foot print which means you are close to the beach, pool, kids club, lobby, restaurants, etc...the beach is calm with plenty of shade (if you reserve your chairs early on), the pool is large and shallow (3ft deep) but minimal shade, the food has improved since our first time at the resort (March 2023). The only frustration is limited reservations available at the restaurant and they get booked very early on-need to wake up early and stand in queue to reserve for the next day! All in all, for a moderately priced resort that is close to the airport, offers excellent kids club/entertainment, sits on a beautiful quiet beach, and has basic but acceptable accommodations, this hotel is an excellent choice. I would absolutely recommend this resort to travelers with small children or people who prefer not to walk distances from one point to another. For couples looking to avoid children or individuals desiring more upscale amenities, this would not be the place for you.
Beautiful beach property

The resort is relaxed and a fun environment. Beautiful beach, well-maintained areas, lovely staff. A special shout-out to Tavisha, who managed our room care for 6 of the 7 days of our stay. She was not only good at her job, she delighted us with towel origami on our beds! She helped us figure out the balcony door… she was great!
The worst thing at the hotel is the laundry. Two washers and two dryers, and neither dryer actually dried the clothes, regardless of time spent trying. Why not install new coin- or app-operated laundry machines like most other hotels with laundry, so there is revenue to replace them as needed?
A nice gesture is the drying rack on each balcony where clothes can be discreetly dried. Great idea!
We were there with a group, and felt the hotel experience was generally very good for our purposes. I appreciated the beautiful assortment of fresh fruit on the buffet. Thanks!
