DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOUR A VETERAN OR SERVICE MEMBER
mpgolf12 (Saint Paul, Minnesota) on May 12, 2022
So I reserved two double queen rooms on there web site under the government/ military rate (as I'm retired army) I get each room for $230.00 a night which I felt for a weekend in May was a decent rate. We get to the hotel on Friday the 6th of May and the receptionist asks to seem my military I.D. during check-in I show her and immediately calls a manger on the phone. After she gets off the phone she informs me that they only honor the military rate if you are actually active and there on business. I inform her and actually show her from there own web site when making a new reservation there is nothing stating that you have to be active and on duty to get the military rate. The hotel doesn't honor the $230 rate and informs me they do have availability but the new rate is now $324.00 a night. SHAME on this hotel denying veterans who have fought for this country. They should be EMBARRESSD. Needless to say we got on our cell phones and found another downtown hotel even a little cheaper.
