4.5 review felt more like a 2.5

My wife and I stayed at the Anaheim Hilton for our 2 year anniversary years ago and it felt very different. We noticed some many differences in this stay mainly around the lack of upkeep in the rooms. I will include pictures to ensure the impact of the issues is felt. We also paid 200 dollars extra for a “patio” which was a large deck without furniture. Won’t stay again until it lives up to the reviews.

Rooms were spacious and quiet. Housekeeping took special care. Pool area was wonderful. Restaurant staff outstanding. Breakfasts were delicious. Front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. I will visit again.

Excellent hotel near Disneyland

Eghsea808 on Oct 08, 2021

I stayed here for Disneyland Halloween. I’ve stayed at a lot of places near the park and this is the best by far. I will be back for sure. There is Starbucks, Fedex Office, and a bar and restaurant. The health spa/fitness center is a Precor Gym and is in the top 5 of any I’ve been to (I travel 7 nights a month for work). I walked to Disneyland, but there’s also ART buses that come straight to the hotel.

Average Hilton Experience

Great location friendly staff, housekeeping the morning of checkout was very diligent, but we appreciate an expeditious staff. The electronics were a bit out dated, but it is not a huge inconvenience.

VERY RUDE employees at the front desk

As a businessman who spends 70% of his nights on the road I have always stayed with Marriott brand hotels where I earned life time Titanium status. I recently obtain an American Express card that gave me immediate Diamond status with Hilton Hotels and booked my first stay at Hilton Anaheim hotels. Upon check in I was told their computer had been down for over 2 hours and they could not check anyone in. They had no idea when it would be back up but would cancel my reservation with no penalty if I wanted too. Amazing – they did not want to help me find another Hilton property (tells me they don’t care). They made no accommodations for Hilton’s better customers who held Diamond level status, no meeting room with complementary drinks and snacks, did not ask for my cell phone number so they could call me when the system was up. I spoke to a "manager" named Sabrina who lied to me about how long the computer system had been down, had no concern about Diamond level customers and acted like I was bothering her. I was totally shocked that Hilton would hire such an arrogant person as a "manager." I cancelled my reservation and went to a Marriott property where I was greeted with respect by a professional who checked me in right away. After learning about my bad experience at Hilton, Marriott handed me a bag with 2 waters and 2 snacks, along with a smile and said were happy your here.
