This is our 3rd stay at Castle Inn and Suites and the Hotel could not be more helpful to their guests. We reserved our rooms late for the beginning of the Christmas season at Disneyland and they were able to have 3 rooms for 6 guests despite the fact that they have suites and 6 of us could of been in one room. The staff is very pleasant and the housekeeping and maintenance staff go above and beyond to tend to the guests despite some covid restrictions still being in place. This is a 4 story Hotel with many rooms but you would never know it as it is extremely quiet and we only saw a few people at a time outside despite the Hotel being full. There is a nice pool and hot tub fenced area with a sitting area upstairs. There is a laundry room for guests to use too.Hotel has an elevator, ice machine and pop machines. There is a 7-11 and Walgreens on the same block and a mini strip mall with a variety of food options.Disneyland is a quick 8 minute walk right to the entrance and security screening.Free parking of 1 vehicle per room which is practically unheard of these days at many of the Hotels. On previous stays we were in a standard room which was quite roomy and our most recent stay was in their mini suites which are extremely roomy with a living room area. We've been told to book directly with Hotel on our next stay and they will give us a great discount. We used our AAA discount which is 10% off and knowing they will give us an even better discount on our next stay guarantees we will be booking with them next summer!
Convenient location but no housekeeping

I won’t lie, the fact that there is no housekeeping option took us by surprise. I get the reasoning but having travelled a lot ‘post pandemic’ staying at dozens of hotels, this is the first hotel where I have experienced this. I would expect at least an option to request a room to be serviced. Reception desk were always available to deliver additional supplies and have trash removed and we found the staff very friendly. Masks are required to be worn when interacting with them inside. Ok that aside, the hotel is very convenient to access Disneyland and was the main motivation for staying here. That said, it’s about 15 minutes walk to the park entrance so if you intend returning to the hotel to rest and the go back to the park, you are adding an extra hour of walking each day and that adds a huge toll to your already aching feet. So much so that on the second day, we opted to park at Disneyland and despite the cost of parking, felt it was worth it. The hotel is very basic and rooms offer a microwave and fridges and a filter coffee machine. The beds were comfortable. There are no food options of any kind, but there are fast food, marts and quick service restaurants nearby. There are a few soda dispensers on property but not all of them were working. Parking is free - another solid reason to book here - and you can park until 11am of the day of your departure. We booked via a third party site and got a much better deal than if we had booked direct.
