We stayed here for 8 nights in little mermaid. The hotel is very well themed and all the staff were very nice. I would like to give an extra applause to Rich at the front desk & Zach from housekeeping for their great service. I would absolutely recommend this hotel especially for first time Disney guests.

Run do not stay here. Your hotel/resort should always matter

Samira T (United States) on Sep 04, 2021

We only came because Animal Kingdom Lodge was close at the time. They have since opened. This place is nice on the outside but the inside. Bug roaches and oh my! The pest manager tells you well it’s Florida. Well this not professional. We never had any bugs on our previous stays at the other resort. Run don’t stay here. Pool is nice swamp by kids and adults. Arcade is nice swamped by kids and adults. The food is horrible. If we do return, it will be off property. The magic is also gone. Poor Disney.

2 night trip

carnut695 (Burlington, Kentucky) on Aug 26, 2021

Stayed for 2 nights mainly so my kids could see the Cars and Little stuff on the grounds. Great hotel will go back!! Very easy to get around the very large grounds pools are great. Face mask policy was crazy. Fine for adults but when you want kids 3 years old to keep mask up properly is a bit much

Awesome Resort!

My family and I absolutely love this resort. The theming is so fun. We have stayed here on 3 different trips. Our first trip we stayed in Finding Nemo, our second trip the Lion King and our third trip Cars. You can't go wrong with any of them. I would say the theming in Nemo and Cars is a little better than Lion King but they are all really nice. I would not recommend paying the extra for the Nemo suite unless your kids really love that move over the other 2. The walk to transportation really isn't that different. The Nemo building is closer to the Big Blue Pool but the Cars Pool is nice too. Lion King does not have its own pool. There is a third pool at the Little Mermaid but we have never used it because that is somewhat of a walk from the suite buildings. The actual suite is nice but on this last trip my kids were a little older and no one wanted the pull out couch bed. It's not a typical pull out couch, you don't feel awful springs like you do in some of them but the mattress is thinner than a typical mattress so it makes for a pretty hard bed. The table bed has a normal mattress so that one is very comfortable. It is really nice to have the extra full bath when traveling with 4 kids. Overall, I would highly recommend this Resort. My only complaint would be the price.

Not Disney Anymore

Wander10277034372 on Aug 20, 2021

Limited transportation. I’m staying on property at Disney’s Art of Animation, but I have to drive my car to some meal reservations because there is no bus service available. Then, I have to wait in line for security before I can park my car. Rude “service” overall. Housekeeping doesn’t come every day to empty the waste basket or drop off new towels unless you ask them. Something about service every other day. (I understand that some hotels don’t turn down the beds everyday, but not stopping by to empty the trash is really bad.) Some employees actually started conversations with me to complain about their jobs and Disney management. Staff seems demoralized. I feel somewhat bad for them, but I don’t go on vacation to hear complaints. Rides keep breaking down. I’m here now, but I can’t wait to leave. I am very unlikely to ever return.
