Remodeled rooms should be uninhabitable because of fumes. You don’t get the room in the pictures shown when you book.

Paula B (Viera, Florida) on Jul 03, 2022

We just checked into a Garden Wing 1 bedroom suite having stayed in this exact room 1 year ago before the remodel. It was one of our favorite rooms ever before, but they’ve taken away so much of the space to change the shape of the bathroom and it’s just not the same. Everything feels cheap and has lost its character. The drywall, paints, and new everything smells are headache inducing, these rooms should not have been cleared for occupancy, and we are not sensitive smellers. The windows won’t open. There is nothing the hotel said they can do about changing rooms in their busy season, and nothing we can do except breathe fumes because where else can we take our kids? They offered a portable carbon filter. We have the worst views and zero privacy giant windows onto the pool area that fog up at night so you can’t see fireworks or electric parade. We couldn’t even call the front desk when we arrived because the switch plates aren’t screwed into the floor yet and the phone was not plugged in to charge the cordless. And they make it impossible to locate front desk phone numbers with your cell phone. Concierge is too busy speaking to each other to listen to concierge guests. We walked into the club lounge and started serving our children only to be stopped and redirected by a server indicating we couldn’t be there without an arm band. He took us to the front desk where two female concierge staff were chatting to each other and 1 male staff was on the phone. The server got our bands from behind the concierge desk himself and explained we needed to wear them because of 4th of July fireworks. The male concierge handed us a piece of card stock explaining we had to wear bands, without saying anything or even getting off the phone. They called out closing down dinner offerings at 7, but many had not been replenished since 6:30 so not sure the point. There is no bathroom in the concierge lounge for children and you have to go down 8 floors. The toilets would not flush toilet paper and the trash bins were overflowing on the 4th floor. This is not what $5,000 stays at a Disney resort should look like. We bought our own Advil to settle into the fumes, but will never stay here again.

Great service, nice and friendly people, food (walk up market) what you would expect and the rooms were clean and nice (updated since my last visit - thank goodness! ). Bathrooms still really do not work for a family of 4 but larger than expected and nice to have toilet in separate area just wish the shower was not a glass door so that multiple people could be getting ready at the same time. Being able to walk to Magic Kingdom was the real benefit. With the new early hours for all at all parks bus service was not great and the real surprise was after a long day at a park waiting over 30 minutes for a bus back to the hotel (3 - 6 buses had come and gone for nearly every other hotels during this window and then to get on and it not be a direct bus - nope had to stop at Ft. Wilderness - really 2 of the top level hotels share a absolutely crammed bus - something was clearly off with dispatch! Clearly the bellman's arrival recommendation of using LYFT to get to the parks was spot on.... the morning wait for early buses was also a disappointment that we avoided after day 1.

Overrated. Proximity the only virtue.

DinDallasTexas (Dallas, Texas) on May 15, 2022

Coasting on its proximity to action, I'm not impressed with this place considering what we're spending. Took a rude cold shower tonight and I'm trying to contact the front desk about it. I've called over 60 times and get nothing but a busy signal. It's like they got your money and you get what you get. Supply and demand... they don't really have to try to take care of you.

The 14th Floor IS the Happiest Place on Earth!

HarperStarr on May 13, 2022

I cannot rave enough about Jim and his entire team on the 14th floor! We chose the Club Level for our stay at Disney and it was worth every penny! The staff babysat a stuffed animal of my daughters while we were at the park... and when we arrived back at the hotel there were pictures of all the places Stitch went that day. On Mothers Day we weren't going to get back the room until midnight and there was a nice tray of desserts waiting for us in our suite! Its the little things... and there were so many of them! All the talks with my 7 year old... the fireworks... the advice.. the food... the wine... so many things! WE THANK YOU! We will be back!

Club Level is Worth It!

LizBelem (Herndon, Virginia) on May 13, 2022

We stayed there for 8 nights during spring break 2022. We had a lake view room at club level. The resort is an amazing one stop shop resort which is why we stayed there. I traveled with my husband, 10 year old, 4 year old, and 9 month old. I loved that we could do premium character dining, see amazing views of Magic Kingdom fireworks, eat a fancy dinner, have the kids run around the arcade, window shop with low crowds at their hotel stores, purchase tons of tasty treats normally found on Main Street, and get front of the park access in a short 10 minute walk with a private security screening area which hardly had any line the whole time we were there, ALL IN ONE RESORT! The rooms were spacious and we were comfortable in there, even with the pack-n-play in the middle of the room. It was also nice that at the end of the night we could skip going to the ticket and transportation station and just walk back to our hotel using a private path. For club level: this was our first time staying club level, I never thought it was worth the cost before, until now. Wow! We all loved it! We were in the parks most of the time and still found it worth it. First of, you have AMAZING views of MK from club level, you feel like only a stone throw away. Second, you get treated like a VIP. Your room gets cleaned every day and you get nightly turn downs. You have unlimited access to espressos, which at Disney, coffee is a parents best friend. We don’t drink, but they also have unlimited champagne and wine and beer, if it’s not out you just have to ask. For the kids, they have unlimited PB&J crustables, packaged grapes, and apples, sodas, juices, milk, which are all great to throw in your bag for a day at the park and save some coins. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They say it’s only light things, but it definitely was sufficient to get you full. For dinner one night, they had salmon, and some sides, for the kids they had mini corn dogs and potato barrels. We were all happy. It was also nice to come back to the hotel after a long day at the parks to a wonderful line up of desserts. Also the concierge service was amazing. They were always sooo helpful and accommodating, even one day offering to walk my tray of food to my room door so I wouldn’t have to carry it. They can also adjust park reservations and book lightning lines if slots are available. Overall we had amazing time! My husband and I were exhausted but having someone pamper us during our stay made up for it :)
