Stayed for only Wednesday, great experience. Lady at Starbuck's, Susan gave me excellent service and had a bright smile! Would come again because she made the gest coffee I've ever had in my entire life.

Labor Day Getaway ??

Candaece C on Sep 14, 2023

Shalyndra was amazing! She captured my 8 year old daughter’s heart at check in with the 15 floor and her own key for entry. She swept her away at check out with the information to help extend our stay. Exceptional Service all around! The breakfast buffet was amazing and Shalyndra gave us very good information about a free 15.00 and the amenities that came with check in, thanks for taking care of us. Valet service was superb and went over and above to help make our stay great! We really enjoyed our Labor Day Weekend getaway!

QUIGLEY BABY SHOWER SEPTEMBER 9, 2023

Tourist754193 on Sep 13, 2023

MY FAMILY WAS CELEBRATING THE ARRIVAL OF OUR FIRST GRANDCHILD. WE DECIDED TO USE THE OCEAN VIEW ROOM AT DAYTONA BEACH HILTON RESORT FOR HER BABY SHOWER. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL VENUE. BRIGHT AND SUNNY. THE ROOM ILLUMINATED WITH NATURAL SUNSHINE. IT WAS EXQUISITE. EVERY STAFF MEMBER AT THE HILTON WAS SO KIND AND HELPFUL WITH ANY REQUEST THAT WE HAD. THERE ARE A FEW STAFF MEMBERS I LIKE GIVE A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO: JIM BERKLEY - GM JOLENE - CATERING MANAGER EVELYN - BANQUET CAPTAIN JUAN - SET UP BANQUET AND BROUGHT THE PHOTO WALL CHAIR ELLEN - SERVER EACH OF THESE STAFF MEMBERS WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE ME AND MY FAMILY ( ESPECIALLY OUR DAUGHTER) LASTING MEMORIES. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL OF YOU THE QUIGLEY FAMILY

Honest review- Positive and negatives

mediaw2023 on Sep 10, 2023

We stayed at the Hilton for 3 days for a little getaway. We have stayed at many Hilton properties all around the work and want to give an honest review of our stay. The positives first! The location of this property is perfect. It’s close to restaurants, the pier, shopping and it’s oceanfront. The staff are top notch and meet you as you pull up and take care of your luggage and take it to your room. Check in was a breeze and very fast. The lobby is decorated beautifully and the exterior and grounds are well taken care of. All the restaurants are very nice and the food was fantastic. No matter where you go, the staff greets you with a smile or asks if you need anything. The rooms are very spacious as well. Having the boardwalk directly in front of the hotel made it nice to walk to the pier or just relaxing on a bench and going to the ocean. The negatives….the rooms themselves were completely outdated and nothing like the lobby or what you’d expect looking at the exterior of the hotel. Old carpet, rust all over door frames, stained bathroom sinks, broken glass on the closet, and to top it all off….no balconies on an oceanfront hotel to enjoy. The beds were comfortable but the way they made the beds, was just a flat sheet over the mattress that would move and so you would have the mattress exposed when you woke up. The 5th floor pool is also outdated and looked like that’s where they would put the old outdoor furniture at. Parking was EXPENSIVE. You either walked across the busy street and parked your car yourself for $30 per day or had valet parking for $40 per day, plus tax and then they add incidental charge for a whopping total of $225 additional for our 3 day stay. The on site store charged $7.50 for a bottle of water as well. If the rooms were updated, we might come back but as is, we would look for a better option.
