Fantastic and clean stay. Property was beautiful!

princessdebbie1972 (Orlando, Florida) on Jul 04, 2022

I was extremely pleased with how nice this resort was. The AC was honestly the best out of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. AC stayed cool with temp setting. The room was impeccably clean and beautiful quartz counters. The bathroom had my favorite H2O products. The only thing that could have made the stay better was the food in the bars and lounge. Not a great variety and drinks and apps were very overpriced with the portions. All that aside, this is definitely a great property with updated rooms and extremely clean. Poop was fantastic but jacuzzi didn’t have any heat power. Great stay and we will be back!

It's ok....

TurboTammy (Charlottesville, Virginia) on Jun 28, 2022

This hotel is ok. We stayed in a princess room and the little extras were nice. The hotel is dated and definitely not the nicest hotel I have ever stayed. I likely would have left a better review if we had not had issues. My daughter fell and scrapped up her arm fairly bad on their faulty bedding. In the deepest part of the injury she now has a scar that will stay with her for the rest of her life. We talked to the hotel and they did the minimum. They fixed the bed and offered medical care. They definitely didn't go above and beyond to make us feel special. I would have expected maybe comping part of our stay or at least sending a gift to my daughter to show they cared. NOTHING... They definitely aren't about customer satisfaction. I would definitely stay at a different resort if we ever go back.

Overpriced!!!

332heidip (North Granby, United States) on Jun 17, 2022

Our family of four stayed here for for four days and three nights. The grounds and facilities are very nice. It has a lovely natural and lodge-like atmosphere. The pools and amenities were nice. The room was limited in amenities and although had a theme, felt bare bones and cramped. The food court has lots of options but not too healthy. My biggest and central concern is that everything is overpriced. They are gouging customers for everything purchased. And customer service (staffing) is fairly limited for the high-prices you are paying. They are exploiting your family's dream to experience disney. Disney has become another greedy Wall-Street slave.

Nice Stay

Beckibecka (Aurora, Colorado) on Jun 16, 2022

Our royal room was very pretty and my kids were very excited about how FANCY it was. There was enough room for the 4 of us, but just barely. I do wish there was a little more storage for things like luggage. If you're staying for a few days it would likely be perfect, but it was cramped for a full week. Housekeeping would switch out some towels every other day, but that was it. The A/C worked really well, but it still got pretty humid in the room. I wish there were a ceiling fan. The firework headboards were awesome. There was plenty of lighting. The pools were a bit small for the large crowds of people. They were also very warm due to the 120 heat index and it felt like you were swimming in sweat. I do wish the store had a larger selection of basic necessities. Other than that, the property was clean and easy to get around. The staff was friendly.

A week at Disney staying at Port Orleans Riverside

simonmP9020TB on Jun 14, 2022

We had such a great holiday at Disney World Family of 5 with three children between ages of 9 and 13 and they all LOVED it. 9 year old was big enough for all the rides and 13 year old boy got so caught in the magic. I had been when I was 7 but going back as a parent was almost as good again! Disney are so slick the staff (or crew) could not have been more helpful and every element was fantastic. The Avatar ride was worth the price alone!! We were all staying in one room at the New Orleans Riverside resort. The room was just right, not lux, but clean and with a very decent size pull out bed and a spacious enough room for us all. The one gripe I had was that during the second half of the week there were afternoons when we just needed to crash out and let the kids watch some TV. … but… despite there being a massive TV in the room, and staying in a disney hotel we were NOT able to watch any Disney+. We even had our own Disney+ account on our phone… but there was no casting facility either We phoned up the reception and they looked into it and confirmed guests are not able to watch disney+ on the tvs at the disney resort!! So odd as such an easy fix to just stick a chromecast into the back of the TV and then people could cast their own subscriptions. Still overall a great holiday and would recommend.
