Good Hotel Poor Breakfast
Fearless581748 on Sep 13, 2023
Enjoyed our stay in Ottawa, hotel in a good location and clean and comfortable. Pleasant staff at reception. Had a meal in the restaurant one night which was very nice too. Only let down for me was breakfast. It was busy but did not seem very well organised. No orange juice on either days! Did not like being asked for a tip on an included breakfast.
Good choice for the canadian capital!

Overall, a very nice stay in this hotel - I was unfortunate enough to visit at a time that the "O metro line" wasn't working so it was a bit of a challenge getting to/from the VIA Rail station. Normally the metro stops at a few meters away from the hotel entrance. Nice breakfast for N. American standards - the room was large enough and clean. 10 minutes' walk away from the Parliament area and probably another 5 from the ByWard market where all the food and drink places are.
A great Hilton staff in Ottawa

This is not the most luxurious or grandest hotel in the Hilton Brand. But it makes up for that by being clean, efficient, well placed and above all a superlative staff. I personally have over 3,000,000 points in stays at Hiltons in some 70 different locations. The staff at this hotel, have bee simply, excellent, bending over backwards to accommodate a myriad of requests. You would not go wrong saying here in any way.

We found piece of glass near to bed when we were leaving room it can hurt someone badly as we were in hurry we ignored it it was Canada Day our room number was 823 we left in Afternoon on Canada Day and during shower time we found hair in shower area before using it. Rest hotel is nice and staff too but room cleaning was not upto the mark.
Higher end hotel in downtown Ottawa

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, for an independent event based at the hotel. It's conveniently located about 10 minutes walk away from the Parliament area. The check-in area was very nice and the staff were helpful. There was a $50 per night deposit to pay in case of any additional charges, I wasn't particularly happy about this but it was mandatory. I stayed in a king room, this was nice enough. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it had the standard amenities. There was a Keurig machine, and even a microwave. The bathroom was clean, there was a shower but no bath tub, and the shower door was sliding and had difficulty staying shut. I did not have breakfast there, I heard it cost $21 plus tax, but it looked ok and was all you can eat. I did not use the pool or gym facilities, but I heard they were really nice. Overall it was a pleasant stay, due to the event I had a discounted rate and with tax it worked out to about $210 per night including tax.
