Great Hyatt Family Getaway Resort
227ls (Los Angeles, California) on Jan 12, 2025
This is a great resort for a family getaway - for all ages. If you are a Hyatt Globalist, this is a great place to use your suite upgrade awards. The location is beautiful. There is a waterpark-like area for kids with waterslides and a lazy river, and a kid/young child pool area with water sprayers. Adults have an 18+ over area to escape the large crowds. The spa is very relaxing right next to the gym area. This is overall an amazing place to go for a few days with the family.
Mid-luxe, family-heavy, understaffed during peak times
Nadia M (Scottsdale, Arizona) on Jan 07, 2025
This is a semi-luxury property. It is very family heavy. The rooms are spacious but aesthetically mid. The restaurant Tia Carmen is great, and the lounge Carmocha is good, but if you're visiting during peak travel times, the staff will likely be overwhelmed. We stayed over New Year's, and that busy time might have contributed to our general feeling that the quality and experience did not match the price tag. Note: the beds have motion sensor lights on them that you can't turn off.
