Thanks Jay ??

puputcarolina (Los Angeles, California) on Apr 14, 2024

Got into this hotel was the best decision I made for my coachella trip, because it was close to the valley and the facilities in this hotel completed the trip — I got welcome champagne, free play bowling card, and the golf yard view from my room was amazing. Thanks to Jay, he made the check in and check out was delightful with his great service. Best wishes to The Westin Rancho Mirage ??

James and Jay were amazing. From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out they were super helpful and made sure we had a great experience. The property is lovely as well and was relaxing. Absolutely Looking forward to staying again!

Not worth the ridiculous expense

traveljunky88387 (Los Angeles, California) on Apr 11, 2024

I wouldn’t have been so annoyed if I hadn’t spent so much money to stay here. It’s a beautiful property but that’s all I can really say about it. The buildings are two stories each. Being on the ground floor felt like I was at a motel, with people walking past all the time. I could hear all the conversations people had outside my door, stomping above me, even people sneezing. The a/c doesn’t blow very strong, even though we put it at the lowest setting, I was still warm in my room. Not great for staying in a desert. Room service is to go boxes - which, based on how much they charge for delivery, makes it not much different than UberEats, which at least has more variety. They don't keep information about the hotel b the room - another cost cutting effort from COVID - so good luck if you lost the map they gave you on the first day! Finally, the rooms weren't cleaned very well. Lots of handprints on the mirrors and windows, dust on the nightstand.

Not as good as it could be

Fishabs (Brooklyn, New York) on Apr 10, 2024

Pretty, well maintained property but many aspects of the experience were not good. Great amenities for families - large pool w/ waterslides, mini golf, arcade, bowling. Upgraded to an Executive Suite. It was nice to have additional space but what they didn't tell me was the my upgrade got me a room facing a parking lot with dirty windows. Beware of room #539! The room descriptions should be more clear. I expected that at a resort a basic room would have a garden view. Wrong. It was a dark cave facing a parking lot where I got to hear people coming and going from their cars all night. If you want a better view than a parking lot, you must book a Golf Course View room. Front desk service was inconsistent. Some great staff (Alexis and Jay!) but lots of people who clearly need better training. Housekeeping was very inconsistent. One day they never came. One morning they showed up at 8AM. On both occasions the front desk assured me they would service the room later that day but they never did. Room service was not good. Missing items from the order. You are better off ordering from UberEats.

Pool side Bar

Vanessa O on Apr 08, 2024

Pool Bar: Diana our wonderful bartender was amazing. Drinks were terrific and the food was delicious. I did not get the gentleman's name that grilled our cheeseburgers. Overal Staff was great. It was cherry on top to my birthday weekend. Thank you Diana for the wonderful service by the pool.
