Best welcoming front desk experience with Tara!! She was the sweetest most helpful hotel personnel i have ever met! I appreciate her kindness very much! She is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the hotel and guest needs.
Room was nice and comfortable. I had to give her recognition as she is a wonderful employee! Make sure you ask for her!! :)

This place is a jewel. Great rooms, grounds, pool and the best staff ever. A Palm Springs resort at is best. This is the place to stay. Just o block away from main drag smack in the middle of town. Walk to everything and walk back to paradise. Wow what a find - will not stay anywhere else.

UPDATE: I have previously stated that the chiller on the pool made the water too cold. They have come to their senses. We decided to visit again after being told that they keep the water at 85/86 degrees; the water was perfect. Ambient temp was mid-90s, so the pool felt wonderful. The pool area is beautiful.
I have read the negative reviews about the hotel itself. This is an old hotel done in the old style with patios or balconies and plantation shutters, even if it shows a little wear around the edges. Our room was clean, and the fridge and microwave make it convenient. The location cannot be beat. We park the car, and walk everywhere. If you are looking for a hotel with gray and white walls and stainless steel, then this is not the hotel for you.
My family has been coming to this hotel for decades and we cannot wait to return. We are grateful that the pool water is no longer reminiscent of an arctic river.
Rooms dark, dated. Horrible sheets (not soft, scratchy) and A/C unit (so loud)

With so many places to stay in Palm Springs, skip this one. Rooms are dark, dated and plain. Room had a slight smell. Worst sheets ever - NOT soft at all. Scratchy. A/C unit was so loud and didn't cool off bathroom. Grounds are ok, but could be more lush. Great location. Motel 6 level hotel. With so many hotels to choose from, I would skip this one for sure. They have such a great location, large property, too bad they don't really invest in this property to bring it to the next level.

We have been using Palm Mountain Resort for our yearly sewing workshops since 1993. Love the facility, especially since it was remodeled. It's location is close to good food, nice safe area to walk, window shop and close to hiking trail heads. On site parking is nice, as is the, in room frig, microwave, coffee, and toiletries. Love having the outdoor tables to eat outside and the fire pits to sit around in the evenings. Many of the staff have been there for years so it always feels like coming home.
