While this used to be a great hotel it's getting old and they are trying to push a $70 resort fee for their overrated water park that we didn't even use. For their prices with the resort fee you are better off going to a nicer hotel.

My fiance' and I stayed here for one night for his birthday. It was a warm Saturday, 97° and it was very crowded but we expected that. Our family hung out with us at the water park and we had great time. Those who wrote negative reviews must be hoity toity because the park was nice and very well maintained. Lots of lifeguards everywhere. No one touched our stuff by our chairs even when we went in the lazy river or on the slides. The food and drink served at the Oasis bar and grill is pretty pricey but where is anything really cheap these days? When we go out for a celebration, we don't care how much we spend as long as it's good and we are having fun. That being said, my club wrap was very good, my margarita was a bit weak lol but I like strong drinks. My fiance' loved his fish tacos. The bartenders were very friendly. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The bed was comfortable, the AC was very cold. No issues whatsoever. It's a very cool, retro resort and retro is fine with me! We had a great time and will definitely be coming back.
