Not the experience I was hoping for

This is a lovely property I stayed at years ago and was so excited to return to because they are newly renovated and just turned into a Grande Hyatt. The renovation is mostly wrapped up, so seemed like a good time time to try it. After my experience, I would recommend waiting until all the bugs get worked out. We had an alarm go on and off for 30 min one day. There is still jack hammering going on. Our toilet flooded multiple times with toilet water all over the floor, the toilet had a major problem that was obviously there prior to our stay. We had to have maintenance to our room 3 times before they fixed it so it would actually flush. One of those times was at 11pm, the next time they didn't fix it while we left property like arranged, or they didn't fix it "correctly" which meant the 3rd time resulted in me spending my afternoon dealing with that instead of at the pool. I was given an additional complimentary room across the hall to use the last night of our 3 night stay in case we had any more toilet issue. We decided to utilize the extra bed for our family of four, but then the AC didn't work!!! The 2 of us who chose to sleep in the new room were in a hot box all night. I tried everything to get the air to be cooler but nothing worked and then forgot the key to the old room, so we couldn't go back unless we woke up the rest of our family to let us in. I woke up on Thanksgiving morning so tired, like a truck hit me. I was happy to check out at that point and go to a Marriott. Not the stay I hoped for. Apparently it is a 112 million dollar renovation but they took down the Greek looking pillars/waterfalls out at the pool, and now it is just looks like every other high end pool. I was disappointed to say the least and won't be back anytime soon.
