Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa is going through an extensive transformation. This is a two year project from 2023-2025 with the rebranding to Grand Hyatt.
Here is an outline of the areas impacted and proposed timelines:

Grand Vista Lounge not so grand

Came to see the renovations and enjoy the Grand Vista Lounge live music and views. My friends and I spent over $700 and received mediocre service from the lounge staff (at one point it was over an hour without anyone from service checking on us, water glasses sat empty, empty food plates left, food was ok, not great, multiple requests for items went (refill waters, drinks, etc.) went without providing the items. In addition we had been told parking was validated, so our server took our parking tickets to validate, when leaving we all had to pay for the parking. What a let down, especially since we all live in the Gainey neighborhood.

This past weekend was our second time staying at this property. We celebrated my birthday and Mother's Day. We love this hotel. It is very kid-friendly and the perfect getaway for the weekend. We received excellent service from Aldo poolside. He went above and beyond, ensuring our experience was the best and that we felt special. Thank you Aldo!!
