Our time spent @ El Pueblito was great..
Was very clean, staff was nice and very helpful..
Close to town( 1 block)
Close to beach(1 block )
Beds were very comfortable
We had the Master room,El Melon and all good except maybe a few more cooking frying pans and knives for easier in place cooking..
Restaurant awesome and staff especially Johan & younger fellow ( can't remember name)but the chefs we hats off as well..
Front office Alejandro was exceptional and very helpful ,even put a fresh pot of coffee on for me at 5:30ish?? but all front desk office workers were great as well..
New management seems to be interested in listening to guests good & bads to improve their quests stay..
Which is a good thing..

Great little place! Quiet, friendly staff, well maintained. Close enough to the action of downtown but far enough away to create a quiet setting. Lots of dining, stores etc. close by so you have everything you need for a great stay! Highly recommend!!
Charming Traditional Mexican Decor with Excellent Customer Service
Feb 07, 2024
My wife and I were very pleased with our stay at the El Pueblito Sayulita in early January 2024. The Hotel has a charming traditional mexican decor with beautiful well kept tropical plants that create a private Oasis. The beach is a only a few minutes walk. The same can be said of Restaurants, Markets and Pharmacies. But just far away from the center of town (5 minutes) to keep things more quire.
Our room (La Botella) which is a Junior Suite with Balcony was perfect for a couple. The room was clean and the view of the hotel grounds from the balcony was great. The Wifi Fi Service was excellent. The Restaurant was also a big plus. The food was great and the service throughout the hotel was excellent.
One person whom was Extremely Helpful was the Reservation Manager Amparo Valencia. We had some trouble booking through a 3rd party because we wanted to alter our dates 6 months before our stay The 3rd party was HORRIBLE to work with but Amparo worked with us very patiently and with the 3rd Party to take care of the problem. Also our flight was cancelled and we had to request additional nights at the last minute. The airlines insisted on actual receipts instead of my credit card receipts. Amparo was able to find the receipts, scan and e-mail them to me. Amparo to the rescue again. (Thank You Amapro)
I would definitely stay at the El Pueblito Sayulita Again.
Things I would do differently....
I would book directly with the Hotel and not through any 3rd Party.
I would also advise you not to eat Raw Oysters from the Beach Vendors.
That did not work out too well for me.
Other than that Saulita is SUPER Fun and Charming.
I cant wait to go back!!
Amazing customer service

Four of us ( Grandparents, mom, and a 5-year-old) stayed at El Pueblito in late January. The location is great for walking into town or to the beach while being far enough away to allow for quiet nights. The courtyard and pool were very relaxing, although both the pool and hot tub could have been warmer. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to families looking for a relaxed and comfortable stay in a perfect location. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service. We had a medical emergency that required getting an ambulance and Alejandro went above and beyond while helping us navigate a scary situation. I can't say enough nice things about Alejandro and the other staff who provided great assistance and care - gracias a todos!
Average Hotel Stay

The place is on the older side. The rooms need updating, specially the bathrooms. I was not impressed. The reviews were definitely misleading. The breakfast was very minimal and it took forever to get served. They were understaffed as it wasn't that busy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating but I was underwhelmed by the hotel itself.
