Do book a balcony room! Not all the rooms in the main tower have balconies and to not have one is a waste of this vacation and it’s location. We stayed in the Club Tower in a Junior Suite. Lovely large room with a sitting area. Huge TV. The Club Tower has its own bar with top alcohol brands and a variety of “snacks” for breakfast and the rest of the day including sweets. It’s own concierge as well. The restaurants were fine. The buffet - we always found many things to try and found it very good. Blaze is a gorgeous spot above the ocean and food is good. The Asian restaurant is on the beach. Take the waiter’s suggestions and you will eat well. The Mexican restaurant was terrible which was sad. Next time we will go out one night for a wonderful Mexican meal. Do check in with the turtle handler Miguel to see when turtles are released. We joined him one morning to harvest eggs that had been laid during the night. Amazing! The hydrotherapy at the spa is a must do. Best $35 you can spend! You will be so wonderfully relaxed after. Next time we come we are going to book it the day we check in to start our vacation on a nice note! Do bring money to tip and tip often. It is appreciated. There is construction going on throughout the hotel that looks like will last for a long time. The noise was a bit annoying at times and the lobby in particular does not look it’s best. We didn’t let it spoil our vacation but it’s not ideal. Uber from the airport - you cross the footbridge to the left when you exit - was $7 US. Uber back to the airport about the same and you are dropped off in front of your airline. All in all a really great time and we’ll be back!

Great location! beach is very beautiful. Staff and everybody was so nice and accommodating. I very intimate and quiet when we came in for September. Food was OK but service was fantastic. In comparison to Hyatt Cancun. Can’t wait to come back again.
