Great beach , bad food , poor bar , ok rooms , beautiful resort,no Habla English

This resort is a 3.2 on a good day . And I really want to give a better review but the areas that this area lacks , or needs improvement is so simple to focus and get fixed ,just frustrates me so much. # 1 - is the Bars . I understand that not one single Bartender does not speak English, but not to know just the ingredients in the English language is just lazy and stupid. Word like ‚juice , beer , club soda , orange juice, pineapple . Our main bartender was Indasol at the pool bar , she was very nice but lack on basic English just makes me mad . Make sure you ask her for a drink named „loko-polako! #2- is the restaurants , same issue with the English , plus service is horrible (especially at steak place . )Italian best restaurant, but not great . #3 -food and drink inconsistency . Bars will have one certain brand of tequila or brandy and the next day make a switheroo and only serve cheep stuff . Same at pool buffet. One day food taco station next day just horrible. We traveled here with a group of 13 people, and we received no special szeryfie being a group. It almost feels hear that if your not a Spanish speaking clients „we don’t care about you „ Now the good The property landscaping in beautiful, especially at night. Beach is awesome and pool , restaurants, bars , lobby very nice and always clean . And this is the frustrating part , it’s a beautiful resort that is basically mismanaged. Just needs a good manager to fix it , and this can be a 4.5 star place
Iberostar Bavaro: A Family Favorite

We've been to the Iberostar Bavaro five times now, and it consistently checks all the boxes for our family. The beach is a major highlight, with ample palapas and plenty of space to relax. The buffet offers a wide variety of food, though it can get repetitive. However, the a la carte restaurants provide a more refined dining experience and were a pleasure to visit. Booking was easy, and the service was excellent. Our room was functional and conveniently located near the beach and a quiet pool. Housekeeping was efficient and kept our room clean. Overall, we had another fantastic stay at the Iberostar Bavaro and look forward to returning in the future.
