My husband and I absolutely love Mexico and our stay at ElDorado Casista was great. Our butlers, Alexis and Adriana were fabulous. I have to say the weather was not that great, but the people were wonderful and the food was fabulous!

We had an amazing time, our butlers Hugo and Rene were amazing and enhanced our experience by 100x. They were helpful, attentive, and easy to talk to. Having breakfast set up every morning was amazing. They knew it was our honeymoon and made our room lovely on multiple occasions. Next time we come we would love to work with them again.

We have just returned from Casitas staying in the 2600 area. We have visited before and had a great experience which is why we returned post COVID.
If you have been here before DO NOT RETURN...!
So many failures in customer services, food, rooms, staff attitude to English clients. Etc
We loved this hotel in the past but will not return ! - Not worth the money - much better in the area at much better pricing and services.
I've kept this short - I would run out of words with the failings - sorry.
Service makes this resort 5 Star!

We stayed at the Casitas for 10 days in late May. This was our 5th stay at the Eldorado resort, and by far the best.
The staff definitely makes this place – they are top-notch. Starting with Vanessa and Francisco, who arranged for our swim up unit in area 32 – that was most appreciated! Francisco, as our concierge, worked with us throughout our stay to assist with dinner reservations and other requests. He is gracious and most accommodating! Our butlers, Alexis and Adriana were wonderful, as was Enrique who filled in when Alexis was off. Norma, who works at La Isla for breakfast and at lunch at 31 is always welcoming and so cheerful! She is a wonderful asset to Eldorado. We always love being served by Wil at La Isla – a lovely gentleman; Vicki, the cook at 32, does a fabulous job with lunches every day; Ramon our beach butler, Benjamin the bartender at 32, Pedro at Gaviotas, Pedro and Raul at the Martini Bar, and Jesus at Santa Fe Grill all went over and above to give us great, friendly service. We can’t say enough about Jesus at D'Italia Villas – we asked to sit at his table when we went back a 2nd night because he was such a professional, friendly waiter. Guillermo at the Wine Kitchen, Arcely at the Martini Bar and Bellinis also were excellent!
The restaurants were all good, especially D’Italia Villas and the Wine Kitchen. It certainly would be nice if they could serve more local seafood. They do serve lots of shrimp, which we enjoy, but not other local seafood. The salmon is excellent, but I’m afraid it’s not out of the Caribbean! We were disappointed in the ambience and service at Kampai this trip, so we only ate there once. The Sunday brunch at Spot was also disappointing. Pre-Covid it was the BEST place for lunch! Lunch at 31 and 32 was always excellent.
The pre-arrival arrangements are worthless – whatever you order and ask for is never correct. It takes a day to get things squared away with what beverages you prefer in your room, getting special items such as extra hangers, etc. The resort publishes dress codes, but they are never enforced. They are very unclear about the smoking policy at the pool or on outdoor patios. Some say its ok, some say its not. We found it quite offensive when we were sitting at the lunch area in 32 and someone was at the pool bar was smoking a cigar, and the ocean breeze blew it directly into the restaurant. The staff does not feel empowered to say anything! Neither do they enforce who can use the members only beach beds at 31 and 32. On several occasions, guests who were not staying in 32 camped out on the beach beds, and no one questioned them.
However, it is still a spotlessly clean resort with beautifully manicured grounds. We are looking forward to our next visit!
The Casita Butlers are amazing (especially Enrique and Adriana)

El Dorado Casitas are a wonderful place to have a holiday. The weather is wonderful (if a little humid). The grounds are fantastically maintained. The food is generally good, though because of Covid some of the buffets have been removed, but breakfast at El Cocotal will still stretch the waistline. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are fantastic, if you can stay in the Casitas infinity pools, then you get the advantage of having staff specifically there to make your holiday even more fantastic. I feel now we should give a shout out to Enrique (primarily), Adriana, Rafael and Melissa, who just went out of there way to learn what we wanted and when and could never do enough for us - even if we did confuse them by insisting on walking everywhere (it's a big resort with golf carts if you need them). I cannot sing the praises of the staff enough - including Francisco and Fabio in the Casitas 32 Concierge office, who again, would go above and beyond to sort any issues out. This is our 6th time there and we will be returning. One extra tip be nice to the waiters, talk to them and they will also go out of there way to help - another shout out to Roberto and Celestino.
