Hi! We stay at El Dorado Casitas Royale every year and always enjoy our trip but this year was exceptional. The weather was amazing, the water so blue! We enjoyed a cocktail class with Angel and some of his awesome drinks as he rides around the resort. We stayed in 31 and had the best service we have ever had from Melissa, Gustavo, Rafa and Hugo. We enjoyed seeing Norma’s smiling face each day at La Isla or lunch in 31. As always, Cesar is our amazing bartender. One highlight of our trip this year was going to Haab. We love Indian food and always enjoy eating there / this time was so exceptional we went 4 times in our 8 night stay. The food was amazing and the best part was our server Tiempo and the amazing Chef Sanjeev. Chef Sanjeev came out and met us and helped us pick special dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed and told our friends and family about. Don’t forget to go to Haab! As always we were sad to leave and the only bad part of our vacation was dealing with Exotic staff regarding the website issues and upgrade meeting. We hope to come back in 6 months if we can ever get through to reservations and not have so many Exotic difficulties (yes we are members but that hasn’t helped at all)

We have spent 4 days so far out of 11 at generations. We have had a great time with some mixed reviews. Our butlers Israel and Luiz are simply put the best ever and keep us happy and content while fulfilling their responsibilities. Todays Breakfast at the palms was great, JJ is an awesome waiter and Chavez head and shoulders above the previous manager. The eggs Benedict was good - English muffins need to be cooked more - it was raw. The steak and eggs were fantastic as was the bacon and coffee. Last nights Meal at Compai was also exceptional. David the captain and the chef treated us ROYALLY. The chef and manager went out of their way. We are coming back Saturday in a private room. We went to Jade the first night , the food was hit or miss. The fried rice tasted of American barbq sauce as did the buns. A step up is in order. The chow meón and service was great as was the Maître D. Similarly with Wine Kitchen. The house wine at wine kitchen needs to be more consistent and at least the level found in the other restaurants - it was not up to par. Bali beds in the members section need to be reserved for members. This did not happen today. Reception at the start went smoothly and we had our room by three o’clock. A hiccup has just occurred with our room and we will post again tomorrow to let you know the resolution. We are 50’year diamond elites and the rest of our party consists of 5 emerald 2 Diamonds and 2 sapphires along with three guests . We have had some room issues some of which were resolved and others are still Pending

We were three couples and lived in an apartment-like structure on the ground floor with direct access to the pool for each bed/living room. Additionally we had a common living room with kitchenet. The breakfast at Cocotal was excellent, so was lunch and dinner at Kampai and the Italian restaurant. The Indian Haab could still improve its performance a bit. Lunch at the Cassita pool was excellent. We enjoyed the Bali beds on the beach very much. And, above all, we enjoyed the spa. The massages were spectacular. Our butlers Luna and Diego did a great job. Whenever we needed anything they were very helpful. Thanks a lot.

A special thank you to Eddie and Stephanie, our butlers during our stay. They were outstanding and so attentive to all our needs!!! Their friendliness made us feel like we were part of their family. A shout out also to Luna, Gerardo, Abril and Israel for filling in when Stephanie or Eddie were not available. You all rock!! Thanks for making our stay enjoyable!

The kids were entertained constantly by the Kids Club and activities staff at the pool. The restaurants are amazing! We loved our entire visit. Our butlers, Stephanie & Eddie we’re incredible and they spoiled us!! The spa was so good with massages and a mani/pedi!
