Family meetup for 2 Birthdays and my 11th Anniversary! 6 adults, 2 kids (14&8)

This is not my first visit here, I love the setup of the resort when I bring groups down with me. Every suite is Caribbean Ocean facing and a little bit bigger in general than a lot of resort suites I've been in. I knew I was in for a great time when I got a surprise message, from one of my former Butler's Israel, a week before arrival. We booked a 3 Br ground floor pool suite, we ended up in the corner suite in building 18 nearest to the main Concierge office. For those with mobility issues, this suite is the closest to every amenity and all the restaurants. I'll break up the review by sections. Arrivals: We had 3 different travel groups, so I had our included transportation pick up my wife, youngest daughter, our sister and Brother at 1730 approx on a Friday. The limo was ready and easy to locate. They had a complimentary bottle of Bubbly for the ride to the resort. The Diego greeted my wife upon arrival just before dinner. My other group arrived at the resort at 1130 AM and were expecting to check in after 3, but to our surprise Israel our butler showed them to our suite after lunch around 130. Thanks to Israel and Diego they had our pre-arrival arrangements set up perfectly. I finally arrived with my oldest daughter on Monday morning at noon. Since I usually do all of the scheduling and booking, it was nice that Diego and Israel helped my wife get all the plans set for the week. I literally scrolled into the resort and everything was done. Butler/Concierge Andres, was our building 18 concierge, he was also instrumental in getting all the small questions answered and always helped us out. This resort really overwhelms you with service at every turn. The reason I return is because they make you feel at home. Shout out to the butler staff, they all helped us at one point or another covering each other's days off and being great all around. Gerardo, Steph, Imelda, Luis, Luna and Ana Muchas Gracias.... Thank you for the care you showed my family. It is nice to be able to see you all every year and you guys always exceed expectations. Special thanks to Melissa C. At Edr. She was our first butler, on our first stay at Generations, she set the service standard high at Generations. Thank you for making time to come say hi, I know you were ridiculously busy, so it means a lot that you came and said hi to my family! Pool Bar It was really windy the week I came, although I didn't spend much time in the pool, I did end up enjoying the pool bar. Orlando and Marisol remembered us from previous visits, great seeing you guys! The welcome addition of David, Erbie, Diego and Omar really kept us fueled up all week nice meeting you guys! I like the addition of the espresso machine at the bar for the morning wake up cup.... The activity staff We spent a lot of time by the pool. They really made my youngest daughter have a great time as well. Lots of crafts, games and food demonstrations. Of course the foam party was a great time! Claudia, Paty and Maya did a great job all week handling the nightly entertainment as well. We enjoyed the neon show, circus show, Fernando Meir's magic and the Mexican fiesta. Nikolas the craftsman is such a great artist, there are crafts to purchase and paint and he touches them up and puts a finishing coat on them. My daughters love this! I liked Patricio the Dj and the live singer by the pool in the afternoon. Was a great vibe. Andres at El Dorado Royale activity staff, I loved the volleyball court they built there thanks for playing with me. Guillermo thank you for getting our beach bed set up everyday. The water was amazing and warmer than the pool. HouseKeeping We had the large 3 br suite. It was a huge task to keep up with, thank you Nidia for making magic happen everyday. Mariano thank you for making sure our fridge was stocked with plenty of potato chips.... I was a little disappointed that the Muy Bon bars were not stocked in the fridges, as I am an avid chocoholic.... hopefully they will be back. Spa services I had a couple of massages at the Generations spa. Thank you to Veronica and Jasmine. My wife and i enjoyed our massage and Mani/pedi experiences very much. I also enjoyed the hydrotherapy at the Casitas Naay spa, David and Armando thank you for the hospitality. I do not bring anything other than a toothbrush, because This is a full service spa and it has all toiletries needed. The steam sauna was out of operation, hopefully that will be repaired soon. Palms Lunch First meal upon arrival. Alex thank you. The best view and great tacos, aguachile and ceviche. Chef's Market With my daughter's, this buffet was breakfast my whole trip. Roberto my server, remembered me first breakfast from my last visit 2 years ago. Carlos served me the majority of time as well. A great crew. Shout out to Ivan the F&B for rumning a great restaurant. They go out of their way to accommodate their guests. Sling Bar William was the bartender the week I stayed, great job. This is where you close down the resort. I enjoyed a few nights here meeting fellow guests and grabbing my nightcap. Great spot for Karaoke, my family really enjoyed that. Dinner Members Gala dinner (Palapa Ginesh....) Surf and turf with entertainment. Great job by Martin our server thanks for a great first night dinner... So much fun to experience with my family. Mexican Fiesta (Chef's Market) Thank you Manuel! We ordered the VIP package, because I love the El Cielo wine they offered. Great meal, wine and Mariachi band. Habb (SW Indian) Tiempo our server made sure we had an amazing time. This food is my favorite at this resort and an absolutely spectacular meal. Thanks Chef for stopping by our table! Jade Great selection of SW Asian region. Thank you Eduardo, our meal was delicious. Sushi is really good here. Last Dinner Chef In Suite A Mexican Fiesta brought to our room. Thank you Oscar for being such a great Server, Thank you Chef Danna for the amazing family style mexican dinner. It really was a great finish to a great stay. Jose Balam from Lomas Travel, thanks for getting our group set up for the trip to Aqua Nick, the water park next door. It is a must see, it has something for everyone. I will definitely visit every trip I bring my daughter's. The slides, activities and Teriyaki rice bowls are great! Checkout Checkout was a 30 min affair. Thank you Efrain the limo driver for waiting for us. We had a lot of extras in our room. Please streamline the vouchers, points and credit system you use currently. My wife finally got it taken care of, but It was really lacking in efficiency. We got everything we paid for, but it took a lot of time to process. It was my only hiccup the whole week. Bell staff Thank you Julian for welcoming us and Frank for getting our bags upon departure.... Thanks again Diego, my wife said you were amazing from her first moment she stepped on the resort. We look forward to seeing you again!

Generations In February for Couples!

Generations Riviera Maya was the perfect destination for our long weekend vacation in February. We orginally tried to last minute book Casitas, but it was full. We opted for a nice suite in Generations thinking that most families from the US would not be vacationing in early Feb....we were right. Quite a few destination weddings with one being rather extravagent and LOUD - but fortunatley only lasting one day. That did not dampen the trip though - plenty of space to get away. A few standouts: Our butlers, Ana and Imelda, could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They were always prompt and pleasant, and they went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. When overhearing that my birthday was in a few days they surprised us with celebratory décor and thoughtful notes that added to our trip. We appreciated their efforts to welcome us to the resort. Additionally, we were impressed and grateful for the cleaning services provided by Reyna. She kept our space perfectly clean and orderly and she even left us with a sunny bouquet of flowers. We utilized the Naay spa service and enjoyed a beach front massage - recommend! We also got reservations for the Fuentes dinner theatre in El Dorado and enjoyed a entertaining performance by the whole crew - from the lovely emcee, to talented chef and guitar performances. Out favorite was how each course was presented by the service team! We would absolutely return due to the warm hospitality, professionalism, and exceptional customer service we experienced from beginning to end. We highly recommend!

Just The Best!!

Great family visit to Generations Riviera Maya. We traveled to this all-inclusive resort for seven days to celebrate Christmas 2023 together and couldn’t have been more satisfied. Excellent welcome and service throughout, everyone we met from the staff was nicer than the last, the Concierge team always ready to help. We reserved six “swim up” suites which everyone enjoyed – spacious rooms, well equipped, great décor, and balcony with gate access to the infinity pools. Lots of options for dining, best to make reservations at night, added bonus having reciprocal use of facilities and beaches at the two adjacent resorts – El Dorado Royale (adults only) and Nickelodeon. Special “shout out” to those who provided exceptional care and assistance for our family – Fabiola, Diego, Jamie and Fernando at the front desk. We had a great time...Many thanks to all at Generations for making our vacation such a great success!!

Go to the Wine Kitchen!

We did not stay at Generations. We were at El Dorado Royale Casitas. We went to the Wine Kitchen one night. It is hard to get into. They are only open 3 nights a week. We are so glad we got in thanks to the manager, Mauricio. He got us in even though we didn’t have reservations. The food was AMAZING! What we appreciated about Mauricio, was as when we told him how excellent the food was, he went and brought the chef, Elizabeth out so we could tell her. Great leadership! I would highly recommend making a reservation to eat here! Such a great experience all around! Thanks, Mauricio, Elizabeth and Alma ( our waitress).

50th Birthday Celebration

Our suite was fantastic! Grounds were beautiful and clean. Restaurant food was delicious! Alcohol was top shelf/premium quality and the drinks were good (except the piña coladas) but the best part of our stay was the butler service!! We had Diego and Israel as our main butler’s. They went above and beyond!! They are just the best! Very attentive! Sweetest guys and always had a smile! If you get a chance to stay at the resort with Butlers… definitely request Diego and Israel. You won’t be disappointed!!
