We had a 10/10 experience. We stayed at the poolside rooms by the adult pool and it was wonderful for us as a couple. Room service was great and the adult pool service was great as well (especially Jake). On our first night we dined at Addison which was a once in a life-time wonderful experience. The second night we dined at Amaya which was wonderful as well, it's more casual. The staff (hostess) at Amaya & Fireside grill experienced a major confusion when we arrived 10 mins late and she had us wait 20 mins standing to search for her manager which was unexpected - more training might be necessary. Also the female staff at the ice cream shop did not know how to charge credit card. The hotel was very clean, architecture and good was amazing. Thank you!

We just checked in for a two night stay and I unfortunately already want to leave. The service right off the bat (although the staff attitudes are good) is so lacking it’s kind of inexcusable for a place with this price snd reputation. It took 5-6 requests and multiple hours to just get our mini bar unlocked when we arrived, 3 requests and 1.5 hrs just to get extra shower gel delivered, there is blood on the wall of our room (this was just absolutely horrifying especially in a time where heightened cleanliness is on the forefront of everyones minds) and a pipe in the bathroom is rattling so violently intermittently it’s hard to even hear your own thoughts. I cannot imagine ever coming back here. We lived in San Diego and dined several times with Addison and loved it but actually staying here is such a polar contrast. The management and physical structure itself need an overhaul. I hate to say it but I am really looking forward to leaving.
