Following American Hotel & Lodging Association's (AHLA) recent announcement of its "Safe Stay Guest Checklist"—and following medical expert guidance to help reduce the spread of COVID-19—all Hyatt hotels in the U.S. and Canada will require face coverings within indoor public areas beginning Monday, July 27, for the foreseeable future.
Public areas may include hotel lobbies, meetings and events spaces, restaurants and bars, and fitness centers. Some guests may be exempt from this mandate, including but not limited to guests with medical conditions, guests consuming food or beverages in restaurants, and children under the age of 2.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Manchester Grand Hyatt but the best part was the location. Close to Seaport Village and within walking distance of Gaslamp Quarter & Petco Park. Although the hotel did not have many food options at the time we were there, we had no problem walking to many different restaurants, including Cheesecake Factory which was next door.
Nice Hotel with Some Age but Proximity to Many Places

Nice hotel near Seaport Village, across from an MTS Trolley station, and within a 15 minute walk to Gaslamp Quarter, and the USS Midway and Maritime Museums. Rooms are a bit small and there’s a bit wear and tear elsewhere, but would stay again.
