After over a $150 million restoration, the ever-iconic Caribe Hilton combines comfort and beauty across 17 lush acres for one positively paradise destination. Minutes from the culturally-rich center of San Juan, this beachfront resort features lively colors across 652 modern rooms and suites, most with private balconies.
Savor one of eleven dining options including, Morton's the Steakhouse, local flavors, and the signature Piña Colada – invented at the resort in 1954. Unwind with a spa treatment or loosen up in the hammock garden. Continue your workout routine at the expansive Fitness Center, improve your tennis stroke or just cool off at the oceanfront pools. Daily activities, a game room and playground are great for entertaining the kids.
Great location, wonderful staff, beautiful resort! We enjoyed our stay at Caribe Hilton. We would highly recommend this hotel!
There is a restaurant onsite - Mojitos. I would NOT recommend this restaurant. It’s over priced and food/service wasn’t the greatest.
Morton’s - another restaurant at the resort was incredible, awesome service and great food. It is on the pricier side but we’ll worth it.
We used Uber for the first few days. Uber picks up and drops off at the corner (near the entrance to the hotel - after Mojitos and before the parking garage).
Run down and not a luxury resort
Aug 01, 2021
We booked 2 adjoining rooms for our family of 5. They “gave away” our connecting room to an airline. The beach wing is old and run down. They moved us to another tower and could not accommodate our family of 5. They had to give us a 3rd room and we had to split up due to this. Pool area has tiles/ stairs broken, cushions were dry rotted and moldy, basketball court was a mess, elevator in tower was broken and we had to use service elevator, people above us played loud music and smoked weed the whole stay. The response was “we can’t determine who it is” and this is supposed to be a family resort. Could not enjoy balcony and made children stay inside. Rooms even smelled like weed. Never again will I stay her for $1400 plus taxes and fees - ever!
