Since the moment I stepped foot on resort grounds, I couldn't wait to leave. Not only was the resort terribly outdated, but there was dirt and grime everywhere. I didn't sit anywhere without putting a towel down first, it was all so stained and filthy. Our room floor was so dirty that my mom wouldn't let me walk around without shoes on. The beach area was very small and room to swim was limited.
Service was subpar minus one or two employees. Worst food I've ever had in my life, we'd go to the sister resort only to see if the meals were any better there.
On our last night someone kept knocking on our door around 9:30pm, I called the front desk to ask if it was them and they said yes we leave a checkout letter. Why? Pointless and the knocking was so startling that we ended up not sleeping. I paid a change fee with the airline to leave the island sooner. This is the most money I've ever spent on a hotel (1k/night for two people) and the worst stay I've ever had.
