A go to boutique hotel in downtown Vancouver

JenniferW369 (Calgary, Canada) on Dec 03, 2022

I've stayed here twice and it's one of my go to hotels in Vancouver. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. And if you get a room on the higher floors (I always do) the views are spectacular. I believe every room is a corner room too so there is lots to see. The price is good for downtown Vancouver. Lots of shopping and restaurants right outside. The resurarant has a great breakfast.

Hotel in the thick of the acton

GaryC162 (London, United Kingdom) on Dec 02, 2022

We stayed for 4 nights as part of a city break to Vancouver. Firstly, the location is excellent for the business district or shopping trips. It is about a 10 minute walk to the bay area and the central part of Vancouver. There are plenty of places to eat in the local area, particularly if you like Oriental or Asian cuisine. It is also conveniently located for Stanley Park, a short walk in the opposite direction to the City. The hotel is welcoming, and took us about 30 minutes in a taxi from the airport, costing about $40 Canadian. For first time visitors to the city, it is well worth it until you find your bearings. One of the few down sides to the hotel was the staffing of the reception desk. We had to wait virtually eveytime we had to use the reception service. The staff on duty were friendly and helpful but, it would have been good for the guest if more staff were on duty. The rooms were modern and comfortable, with a massive bed, fridge and coffee machine. There is a breakfast option in an attached restaurant but, we did not use this, preferring to use Cora for breakfast, just up the road, we would highly recommend this. There is a small gym and pool which was more than adequate for our needs. Overall. we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this for a short stay in Vancouver. Just be aware that Robson Street is a busy shopping area, so can be noisy in the evenings, this did not affect our stay or ability to sleep.
