Centrally located in the heart of the city is Vancouver's landmark, The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Like the city that surrounds it, the hotel is rich in history, resplendent in natural beauty, vibrant and cosmopolitan.
Out our doors are Vancouver's business, cultural and entertainment districts - whether you want to shop, enjoy live theatre, take in a hockey game or meet clients - The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is the starting, and finishing point. Within, you will discover a hotel designed to ease - from laps in the hotel's pool, massages in the Spa at Hotel Vancouver, martinis in the lounge or browsing in designer boutiques.
Inclusions subject to change without notice at the discretion of the property. Some restrictions may apply.
The management/desk staff - Rude - not just to guests but also between themselves.
Rushdi, the manager on being asked about who manages breakfast- "What do you mean?"
Concierge woman who checked us in to rooms - "We want the Uber receipt RIGHT NOW or we won't offer refunds", "No snack available, ah a piece of fruit that's it"
Guest service - "Please order meals for everyone in the room at once so we don't have to go to quarantine floor" but also "Keep ordering water as needed, we will keep delivering"
Meals under quarantine - They won't pass CDC standards or regulations. Fairmont is in violation. You get one avocado toast for breakfast - with 1 piece of bread literally and you cannot order anymore.
There was literally DUST in the room, surfaces were covered in layer of dust.
Bathrooms leaked water all over the floor - staff was not even surprised, they admitted it happens. This was the last straw - I immediately moved into another hotel.
A Castle in the Heart of Vancouver

Hotel Vancouver is at the heart of where you want to be in the City. It is close to shopping, great restaurants and the art gallery. I never get tired of the historical significance of this heritage property. The guest rooms are appointed with modern facilities , comfortable beds and a variety of pillow choices.
