Lovely two weeks - very friendly people.

Very nice, small and cozy adults only resort to spend two weeks. We have been there a few times, (never disappointed) and we will certainly be back again. During our two weeks, we did not experience any issues, such as power outages (that Cuba had to deal with in recent weeks) or food shortages whatsoever. The pictures speak for themselves. As a matter of fact, food choices were very good in our only restaurant, if more desired, one can always walk over to the Memories buffet and dine in there. We did that a few times, simply because it is a beautiful walk through the garden area. The beach is awesome, beach "boys" Alex and Carlos are doing an excellent job. Beach bar is just a few steps from the beach, Amaury, Natalie and Yoan - perfect job. Our butler has to be one of the best, Renier, he looked after us the same way as he did during our first time years ago. Thank you!! Restaurant, all very friendly servers, but I would like to mention someone special; Mileydis, her smile, attentiveness and friendly attitude is incomparable. We enjoyed our morning cappuccino in the bar daily, Mili and Yudith must be the best cappuccino makers! About hotel management; Had a chance to meet and have very good conversations with Carlos, the new Manager. Nice to see a strong leader, as it will ensure excellent continuous service. And last, but DEFINITELY not least; one of the nicest person at the Sanctuary is YAMAYSIS, the wedding coordinator/guest relation person, who's smile, friendliness, helpful advises and conversations makes one's holiday very memorable.

I cannot say enough good things about this resort and the staff. I am just getting ready to leave to go back home and can honestly say it’s been one of the best trips I’ve had to Cuba. The staff are exceptional!! They go above and beyond to make sure your every need is met to the best of their ability. In saying that - if you are the type to get mad at the staff because the power is out please don’t. They don’t have any control over that and you are not helping the situation any by making them feel bad over a situation they can’t help. They have to go home after working 10-12 hours and face no power themselves so please have some compassion. Our beds were comfortable and we had water, beer and orange pop every day. There was no real shortage of food as long as you aren’t picky!! If you expect steak or lobster though it’s not happening. You also don’t come to Cuba for the food - you come for the friendly people and the beaches which are amazing by the way!!! Same rule applies with types of alcohol!! Some days they have everything some days they don’t but there is always some sort of alcohol flowing ?? The staff at the spa are top notch!!!! We went to the spa 5 times for 6 different treatments. Iosmany is a Godsend for tired and aching muscles!!! Tip your servers!! They appreciate it so much!!! I will be coming back to this resort - probably to the grand memories side with my daughter and we can’t wait to see you all again!!!
