Fantastic Resort - Please note we Stayed in April/May 2025

Scotty2Hotty85 (Chelmsford, United Kingdom) on Jul 08, 2026

PLEASE NOTE. We stayed here in April / May 2025 Great Resort and on the smaller side which we really liked about this Resort! Cast members were super friendly and always available to help and lend advise. Rooms We stayed in a newly refurbished room and it was spotless, the beds are quite high for little ones, but after we returned home we found out you can request bed guards to put into the bed (we always take an inflatable one anyways). Location Location was very good, there is a boat which can take you to Disney Springs and operates regularly. As for travel to the parks, we had a hire car, but everything was within a 20 minute drive (they do have a bus which operates to all of the parks, but we did not use). Grounds Everything at this resort is walkable, which is what I think we liked most about it (It is the smallest resort on Disney Property). The swimming pool is great and opens late into the evening, the slide is great fun and the pool in general is large. They also have a splash park for the little ones as well. Food and Dinning Most importantly, this is where you can get the Mickey shaped beignets and they are as good as what people say they are! Otherwise, the food court is on the smaller side, but that is to be expected with it being a smaller resort. We ate here daily and the food is nice and the dinning area was always clean.

A fantastic Disney Resort experience

Fackmann (Copenhagen, Denmark) on Jul 02, 2026

We were very impressed with this hotel. It is beautifully themed, well-maintained, and very clean. The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage space. We stayed in a room without a bathtub, which we did miss a little. The mini fridge worked perfectly and fully met our expectations. The location by the river is beautiful, and it’s an easy walk to Riverside, which is also a stunning resort. The buses to the parks were excellent and always arrived on time. The food court was a bit disappointing. The food was quite expensive and didn’t live up to our expectations. There were also too few umbrellas around the pool, and housekeeping was only provided every other day. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily come back again.

Fantastic, amazing hotel

blw1810 (Caversham, United Kingdom) on Jun 30, 2026

A fabulous resort that I love, love, loved! The rooms were a great size for 4 of us with plenty of storage space for clothes, (which is unusual for a family of 4!!) We were in a standard room in block 6 which was close enough to everything. The pool was fantastic, my children loved the little slide and we were always able to find a sun lounger. The food was reasonable, the queue to pay was often long which was the only downside, I would send my family to start eating and queue up to pay which wasn’t a problem with the staff. I love the fact that the hotel isn’t huge and there were only 2 bus stops! Without a shadow of a doubt I would stay here again in a heartbeat

Our Disney Home

JRF1978 (Champaign-Urbana, Illinois) on Jun 21, 2026

Our recent trip to Disney marked our second stay at French Quarter and we will always stay here on future trips! Everything about POFQ is perfect for us! We have two members of our family with mobility issues. The property is small and easily walkable. Each building has an elevator. There is a ramp down to the boats and the two bus stops have benches. The resort is also quiet, which we greatly appreciate! The quick service restaurant is Sassagoula Floatworks. It has a variety of menu options for picky eaters and those with more adventurous tastebuds. Scat Cats is the place for live jazz music on certain nights and Mickey beignets. The pool has a sea serpent slide and a splash area for smaller guests. There is also a playground and arcade. The rooms are comfortable with some subtle Disney theming (Princess Tiana) and ample storage with multiple drawers, room under the beds for luggage, and a closet. We love being able to close off the bathroom/sink area from the rest of the room, too. We have always had wonderful, friendly interactions with staff. Buses and boats are frequent, which usually means relatively short waits for rides to the parks and Disney Springs. We have thoroughly enjoyed both of our stays at POFQ and look forward to hearing “Welcome Home” on future visits!

gjborrowdale (Berkhamsted, United Kingdom) on Jun 08, 2026

Just returned from our stay here Room was spotless staff were friendly and the overall place was clean The pool though was overcrowded and three times we could not find anywhere to sit We were under the impression it was mostly couples but it certainly wasn’t The lines to pay for our food was crazy as well And don’t even ask about the wait to get a beignet it took ages Would we return I’m not so sure
