Excellent service throughout the stay. Lovely staff. Nice, clean pool - also a sauna. When our room was cleaned, they noticed that we needed an extra suitcase stand and put one in our room for us. Attention to details like this are appreciated.
Gold floor

Let's start with some good comments. First of all, the staff. The staff on the Gold Floor was fantastic. A special Kuddo to Aarsh and Lauren who made our stay so pleasant. The front desk staff was also very helpful, friendly and professional. Our room was comfortable but not at level you would expect at a Fairmont Gold Floor. The decor and furnishing was a bit old and tired. The complimentary food in the lounge was plenty and tasty. We would recommend to avoid seeing so much ethnic food at night. We did not mind it but we witnessed other guests not expressing interest for it and often the entire plate returned to the kitchen as it came. Winnipeg is not as cosmopolitan as New York or LA. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown. Close to the forks and to the Canadian Museum of Human Rights. The exterior is not really appealing though, a small effort could be made in this area.
