WestJet names Colleen Tynan Vice-President, Airports

Colleen Tynan has been promoted to Vice-President, Airports effective April 19, 2021. In this role, Colleen oversees WestJet’s airport operations including all domestic and international airports in the WestJet network, managing a large internal team as well as a diverse and extensive portfolio of external service partners. Colleen reports directly to Robert Antoniuk, Interim Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer.

“Colleen leads from the heart – she is the epitome of a supportive and engaging leader who is a champion of her teams,” said Robert Antoniuk, Interim Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer. “I have no doubt that she will be an excellent fit to lead our Airports teams on our path towards recovery as the demand for travel makes its return.”

Colleen has been a WestJetter for 18 years and has held a variety of roles across the Corporate, Commercial and Operations teams at WestJet. She started in Inflight, moved to the People team and now joins the Airports team from her most recent role as Director, Contact Centre.

Outside of work, Colleen volunteers her time at the Calgary Stampede having chaired the Stampede Talent Search, Innovation Committee and Grandstand, and now sitting on the Community Projects and Development committee.
