Daniele Gorla to join WestJet as Vice-President, Procurement and Supply Chain

WestJet today announced the appointment of Daniele Gorla, as Vice-President, Procurement and Supply Chain. Gorla will join WestJet’s global leadership team effective June 13.

WestJet today announced the appointment of Daniele Gorla, as Vice-President, Procurement and Supply Chain. Gorla will join WestJet’s global leadership team effective June 13. 

“With more than 25 years of experience in the transportation and telecommunications industries, we’re thrilled to welcome Daniele to our global leadership team,” said Harry Taylor, WestJet, Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer. “Daniele will be instrumental in identifying opportunities and implementing strategic solutions that deliver enhanced processes and sustained financial improvements across our organization.” 

Daniele joins WestJet most recently from Shaw Communications, where she served as Director, Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain from 2014 to 2022. During her time at Shaw Communications, she was recognized for her ability to establish strategic supplier partnerships that delivered value and innovation.  Prior to joining Shaw Communications, Daniele spent 14 years with Canadian Pacific Railway, building and leading Sourcing and Procurement teams.
