WestJet soars between Eastern and Western Canada
In line with the airline’s previously announced strategic direction, WestJet’s summer schedule has successfully expanded domestic travel options across Canada with increased frequencies and options to travel from coast-to-coast, and everywhere in between.
This summer, WestJet is taking big strides to bring its strategic growth plan to life, providing guests with extensive opportunities to seamlessly and affordably travel across Canada. Substantially strengthening Canadian connectivity through enhanced non-stop routes between Eastern and Western Canada, the airline has inaugurated four new routes between Eastern and Western Canada and restarted an additional four just in time for the busy summer travel season ahead.
“By strengthening Canada’s east to west connectivity, we continue to further our commitment to delivering the flights Canadian communities need to thrive,” said Chris Avery, WestJet Vice President, Network Planning, Alliances and Commercial Development. “Our strengthened connectivity between Eastern and Western Canada will further enhance domestic travel options for the communities we serve and stimulate business and tourism opportunities across the country.”
