Where your story takes off.
Ever get on a flight and wonder where it’ll take you? No, we’re not talking about your arrival destination, we’re talking about the great travel stories that are waiting for every guest that flies with us. So, put your tray tables up, return your seats to their upright position and let’s embark on your next great story together. No matter where you decide to write it, we know the perfect place to begin.
Seeing the baby.
Main characters don’t come much bigger or more impressive than a 8lb newborn with the power to bring you from one side of the country to the other. Whether you’re meeting a baby for the first time or seeing the people you love for the first time in a long time, family is often at the heart of some of our favourite stories.
Vegas, baby!
You know what they say: what happens in Vegas stays in your list of “travel stories you’ll tell over and over again”. Well, the ones you want to share, anyway. But, no matter where your bucket-list trip takes place, there’s one thing you’ll find everywhere—a great story.
We know just where to start.
We know the flight isn't the whole story. But it’s a great place to start. It’s where we get to come along for the ride and help over 25 million guests find their next adventure every year. So, no matter what your own travel story looks like – big, small, or anything in between, we can’t wait to help you write it.

Surprising you is always Rewarding
For these two WestJet Rewards members and Blue Jays™ fans, it might not have been a home game, but it was certainly a home run. We surprised the pair with flights and tickets to catch a game in L.A., while all 174 guests on board their flight received Blue Jays™ hats — making it an extra-special journey for all.
Love at first flight
On a short flight from Vancouver to Kelowna in 2007, WestJet guests Amanda and Dustin went from seat mates to soulmates. Fast-forward 17 years, the happy couple set the date for a celebration our WestJetters wouldn’t miss for the world.
Chris, Inflight Crew Member, and Lisa, Customer Service Agent, arrived at Amanda and Dustin’s WestJet-inspired wedding to surprise them with a “safety announcement” speech and two round-trip tickets to any destination WestJet flies.
“Chris connected with the Marketing team, who then reached out to me to plan the surprise of a lifetime for Amanda and Dustin,” said Christie, Maid of Honour, on the special day.

Michelin Star experiences
Throughout the year, world-renowned and Michelin Star chefs visit Calgary to create dishes inspired by Alberta at the Cultural Chef Exchange — a WestJet-partnered event.
We surprised two of our WestJet Rewards members with an unforgettable culinary experience at Shokunin restaurant, where they enjoyed a 10-course tasting event curated by Chef Mineko Kato and Sommelier Yoshinobu Kimura, along with Chef Darren Maclean.
