On a day that's typically about having a few laughs, we're serious about renewing our commitment to you. We know travel hasn't been easy over the past few years. Regardless of the challenges, you deserve friendly, reliable and affordable service, every time you fly with us.

So, instead of making jokes we're making changes. We're growing our fleet and network, investing in technology, and improving processes for our people and guests.

Because we want to make sure you're smiling on the other 364 days of the year too.

Actions speak louder than words.

We're actively working on changes. Some that will stand out, others so subtle that you may never notice, but they all have one thing in common: Elevating your journey with us.

A schedule designed to keep you moving.

We've redesigned our schedule, adding more flight options to our most popular routes. With up to 600 daily departures this summer, we have more alternatives to get you where you need to go in the event of a disruption to your flight.

In addition to our existing fleet of nearly 200 aircraft, we're excited to have another 60 on order. These new Boeing 737-10s allow us to provide more affordable flight options. They’re also industry-leading for their fuel efficiency, enabling us to meet our long-term sustainability goals, while expanding our network to better serve you.

We're looking into more personalized ways of communicating with you. In the future, you'll be able to get more timely flight updates, in the way that best suits your needs.

New self-serve options.

Sometimes things don’t go according to plan. If there’s a disruption to your flight, you’ll receive an email with available flight options. We recognize that you still need more control of your journey. We’re looking into new self-serve options that will give you the ability to make the changes that best suit your needs - on the fly.

Features may include the ability to:

  • Accept a flight change and confirm your itinerary
  • Request a change to your flight
  • Cancel a flight and request a refund

Streamlining the travel experience.

Now you can verify your passport online when you’re checking in for your international flight. This means one less lineup at the airport, making for a more seamless experience – especially when it’s busy. The service is available across the majority of our network’s 110 destinations and 24 countries.

Our people are central to everything we do. WestJetters work incredibly hard, juggling numerous responsibilities to get you where you need to go. Many of the changes we're making are designed to help support them, so they can focus on taking care of you.
